The accommodtion on offer at Rookery Nook comprises a private entrance hall with dropleaf table & chairs, double bedroom with 4ft 6" bed, flat screen TV/DVD/Freesat/WiFi, ensuite bathroom with 3/4 size bath & shower over, equipped compact kitchen, patio garden and off street parking. The self-catering tarif includes the following basic items provided in the kitchen: Tea, coffee, sugar, jam/marmalade, salt, pepper, cooking oil, ketchup, fruit squash, and the following fresh foods on arrival bread, eggs, milk, butter. If you want to cater for your own meal in the evening the equipped kitchen enables you to do this, alternatively you could just order in a take-away to eat in front of the TV! You have the freedom to come and go as you please, much like a holiday home but available for one night or more. Rookery Nook in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders is on the edge of the pretty market town of Diss. We can offer peaceful accommodation in a rural setting, and yet we are just a few minutes from main amenities. Rookery Nook is centrally situated for days out to all parts of East Anglia. Norfolk and Suffolk offers a wide variety of attractions and things to do including beautiful beaches, historical houses, unspoilt countryside, traditional towns, charming resorts, miles and miles of coast designated of ""outstanding natural beauty"". Walking & cycle routes are accessible just yards from Rookery Nook, and further afield beautiful forests and heathlands. Rookery Nook is also 5 mins drive from the famous auction rooms of T.W.Gaze reguarly shown on BBC antique and auction programmes. Travel under railway bridge, turning right immediately after bridge into Walcot Green. Follow this road up slight incline and around bends, with left hand sharp bend at top. Rookery Nook will be found a couple of hundred yards after the bed on the right hand side, with signs hanging off tree. Diss Train Station|Road|1.7|At the bottom of the Station slip road turn left onto the A1066 (Victoria Road) and continue to traffic lights. Turn left into Sawmills Road.
