The Marlborough Head Inn is located in the High Street in the picturesque village of Dedham which is well-placed for Colchester Harwich and Ipswich It is a perfect base from which to explore Constable Country. Visit the many small quaint villages in the area or shop in Ipswich or Colchester Britains oldest recorded town. The Marlborough is located 8 miles NW from Colchester in beautiful and picturesque Constable Country where there are also plenty of country walks or bicycle rides. The Marlborough is a family run Inn serving real ales wines and good home cooked food with three en suite guest rooms. We find that most people appreciate the informality and relaxed atmosphere and many of our customers become regulars. They do much of our advertising for us and we have an established reputation for good food and Comfortable Cosy and Homely hospitality We offer full Restaurant service all day and evening except on a Sunday evening closing at 6pm. However we can recommend an alternative venue close by for Sunday evening. Accommodation is available 7 nights per week. All bedrooms have comfy beds ensuites remote control colour TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. To start the day you can have a continental breakfast bag or from 9am onwards we serve a full English breakfast. Booking and staying is simple and hassle free while our low prices mean you spend less on your room and more on enjoying being away. We will ensure that your time here is both relaxing and enjoyable whether it be sampling our home cooked food in the restaurant spending the night in one of our guest rooms or just sitting back for a quiet pint of one of our guest ales by our open log fires.
