    Priorfield offers luxury B&B accommodation in the picturesque Roman village of Corbridge in the heart of beautiful Northumbrian countryside, 18 miles west of Newcastle. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at our elegantly furnished Edwardian family house set in half an acre of mature gardens. Priorfield is in a peaceful and secluded location, yet only a few minutes walk into the historical village centre and River Tyne walks. Winner of Best B&B 'Corbridge in Bloom Award' 2009/2010 You will be able to relax and unwind in one of our individually designed, spacious and elegantly furnished rooms. The luxury double room has a relaxing whirlpool bath and overlooks the leafy mature quiet garden. The lovely spacious twin room has ensuite shower and features hand painted unusual Trompe d'Oeil artwork. Both rooms have comfortable beds, thermostatically controlled radiators, digital TV, free Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee tray and overlook the garden. A hearty Northumbrian breakfast is taken round our antique yew wood communal dining room table. Vegetarian options available. A great base from which to explore Northumberland's varied activities. Abandon the car & use the Hadrian's Wall bus (AD122), local buses or trains. All easily accessable from our door. The village of Corbridge has an abundance of excellent eating places - restaurants, pubs, tea rooms as well as many interesting and exclusive shops. All within walking distance. We offer private off road parking. Walkers & Cyclists welcome. Please note that we have a strict no-smoking policy. Packed lunches and cycle store are available. Sorry, we do not accept debit or credit cards. Please ring if the dates you require don't seem to be available, we may have a suitable alternative.
