    Timbers is owned and run by husband and wife – Alan and Angela – who have been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years. Their vast amount of experience enables them to offer you a friendly, first class service that will make your stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Each room at Timbers has been individually designed and decorated to offer you the full range of modern facilities, with luxury linens and toiletries provided. Soft, non-allergenic quilts and pillows will help you drift off to sleep and awake feeling rested and refreshed. En-suite bathrooms with invigorating showers and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries in each of the rooms will leave you feeling revitalised and ready for the day ahead. Breakfast is served every day in our cosy and comfortable dining room. We offer an extensive menu of delicious, locally sourced food, prepared by Alan, a fully trained chef. Whether you prefer porridge, smoked Haddock or a full English breakfast, all of your needs are catered for – including a range of vegetarian options. Free WIFI is also provided throughout the property. Timbers Guest House is conveniently situated for the A12, Colchester Town Centre, Colchester North Station (55mins to London by train) and Stansted Airport (40mins by car).       FROM SOUTHBOUND A12:|Road|3|Come off at Junction 26, signposted for Halstead and Stanway.At the roundabout, take the 4th exit to go back on the A12, as if going back on yourself.Come off at Junction 27, signposted for Colchester & the Hospital.At the roundabout, take the 1st exit up a small country road,Spring Lane.Follow this road (becomes Bakers Lane, for approx. 1.2miles).At the mini roundabout, turn left and follow the road for approximately 0.2miles. Turn left into West Wood Hill Timbers is then 2nd house on the left. FROM NORTHBOUND A12:|Road|3|Come off at Junction 27, signposted for Colchester and the Hospital. At the roundabout, take the first exit up a small country road, Spring Lane. Follow this road, as it becomes Bakers Lane, for approximately 1.2miles. At the mini roundabout, turn left and follow the road for approximately 0.2miles. Turn left into West Wood Hill (if you go across the blue bridge which crosses the A12, you have gone too far). Timbers is then the second house on the left.
