The Acorn Guest House is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac north of the city centre, a scenic ten to fifteen minute stroll from the main tourist hotspots. Your walk into the centre will take you through some of the city's most attractive green spaces and alongside the famous river Cam. For those who are less able-footed, there is a fast and frequent bus service into the centre which stops just across the road from the guest house. Alternatively, in nice weather, you could join the masses and take a bicycle ride around the city. We can advise you on local hire. For business visitors, the Acorn Guest House is conveniently located for easy access to the major business parks, including Cambridge Science Park, Castle Park and St. John's Innovation Centre. There is no shortage of things to do during your stay in Cambridge. Visit one of the many museums or galleries, take a guided walk and admire the classic architecture of the University's 31 colleges or view the beautifully maintained college gardens from the luxury of a chauffered punt along the river Cam; particularly attractive during the bloom of Spring daffodils.
