    The Shoulder of Mutton is a local fine dining and drinking public house situated in Barton under Needwood, with low-beamed ceilings and a real fire creating a terrific atmosphere, catering for all ages. Fine food, real ale and a fantastic beer garden makes for an excellent all-round village pub, appealing to just about everyone. Bed and breakfast accommodation is available at competitive rates within our 17th century public house situated within the National Forest. Two double and two twin rooms are available, all with en-suite facilities, television with remote control, tea and coffee making facilities and Internet connection. In addition we are now open for breakfast, tea and coffee from 8am to 12noon. It is no wonder that the Shoulder at Barton is featured in the Good Pub Guide and CAMRA Good Beer Guide!
