    Welcome to South Lodge, a fine Victorian house built in 1866, where guests will find high standards of service in a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere. The quality surroundings of this four star Guest House offer a feeling of luxury and an opportunity for relaxation and time for yourself. South Lodge is located only six minutes walk from the glorious Viking Bay beach and five minutes from Broadstairs’ town centre which boasts many restaurants and pubs. Your hosts, Christa and Bill Hackney, love living in South Lodge and are sure you will enjoy your time here and exploring the secret jewel of England’s coastal resorts, Broadstairs. All rooms are ensuite and well equipped.       Broadstairs station|Train|0.75|Turn right out of the sstaion and walk down the high street towards the sea. Half way down the high street turn right into Queens Road; signposted Ramsgate, the Nat West bank in on the corner. Walk about 600m to the Vale, the 3rd road on the right hand side. Turning into The Vale South Lodge Guest House is about 150 meters on the right hand side, the tall Yellow and White house immediately next to the church. The end of the M2|Road|27|By Car: From the end of the M2, follow the A299 to the St Nicholas roundabout. Take the 3rd exit for Ramsgate and follow the signs for Broadstairs and Ramsgate, along the A253, A256 and A255. Enter Broadstairs drive the half way down the High street turn right into Queens Road, (sign posted Ramsgate), and go 600 metres to the 3th right hand turn. Turn right into The Vale and go 150 metres. South Lodge Guest House, no 19 The Vale, is on your Right Hand Side immediately before the Church.
