Turn left for the longer route to Margate taking in beautiful coastal views en route. A five minute walk will take you to Broadstairs town centre, where you will find ice cream parlours, boutiques, restaurants and bars. If you need retail therapy, Westwood Cross shopping centre is only 2 miles away. The 28 mile circular Viking Coastal Trail offers cyclists an opportunity to explore one of the most attractive leisure cycle routes in Kent. NEW FOR 2011: We can organise bike hire (bikes delivered to the guesthouse) provided you let us know beforehand. Please email us for details. If you are looking for a day out there are many choices – the beautifully preserved medieval town of Sandwich (7 miles); the spectacular cathedral city of Canterbury (20 miles); Deal, with its quaint fishermans cottages and interesting boutiques (9 miles). The more adventurous traveller could even take a trip to France via “Le tunnel” from Folkestone! All these towns can be reached by train from Broadstairs and Ramsgate rail stations.

Turn right into Queens Road, and take 4th left (Granville Road). At bottom of Granville Road turn right into West Cliff Avenue, and at cross roads turn left. You will see us across the road, there is a sign outside the house.
