The Oriental

The Oriental is a boutique, eco-friendly regency guesthouse, set within a Grade II* Regency listed building bursting with character, offering stylish accommodation and a friendly service. Boasting 9 rooms and a funky lounge style cocktail bar we have been 'Highly Commended by the AA'. We are centrally located off the seafront, just a minutes walk from the beach, The Brighton Conference Centre and also Brighton's main shopping district with its plethora of funky bars, clubs and fine array of top restaurants, plus easy access to Gatwick and the M23 and A27. The Oriental is ideal for business or pleasure with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout and an excellent concierge. What more do you need? Our friendly laid-back staff can assist you with their invaluable local knowledge, whilst you relax in our unique bar indulging in a cocktail or enjoying our lovely organic breakfast in the morning. All rooms are decorated in a clean contemporary style with exceptionally comfortable mattresses. Whilst the ""shabby chic"" luxury rooms all feature walk-in showers, curvaceous Italian sinks and silk headboards, our newly refurbished spacious superior rooms all feature spa baths and showers, unique oriental wardrobes, silk curtains and headboards plus chaise longues or the large L shaped sofa in the suite that converts to an additional kingsize bed if required. We offer a full local Sussex breakfast included in the room price, plus fresh organic fruits and other delicious vegetarian options and we also happily cater for wheat or dairy free needs. Dogs and other pets are welcome in certain rooms. Secure parking can be prebooked within 5 minutes walk of the Oriental (approx £10 per 24 hours subject to availability) or guests can use the NCP on Regency Square. The whole of the Oriental can be booked out for 2 nights on weekends for special occasions (but not in the summer).
