The Derby Hotel

The DERBY was built in 1874 as a coach house and in 1922 became a guest house. We cater for families, couples and senior citzens - all welcome but sorry no stag and hen parties. We have parking spaces in the front of the hotel, unrestricted parking on Derby Road and Garage parking if required. The hotel is across from the Hilton where at one time Derby Baths used to stand and is ideal location for conference delegates, Blackpool Illuminations or for the Hilton or the Imperial which is only 2 mins away.The DERBY is a warm and friendly guest house offering just what you get at home but we go a little more by offering you home cooked food by our own chef, very high standards of cleanliness and there for you to help you out if you have problems making your holiday one to remember. No stag or hen parties and family rooms are suitable for children under 14yrs only. We also have our own bar called the Countey Bar with draft beers warm and cosy just like a pub. We are within easy reach of the Winter Gardens, the Grand Theatre, town centre, shops, piers and Blackpool Tower. We are only 25 yards from the prom and the beach. We have a sun and TV lounge for you to sit in, enjoy a rest and look over the Irish sea. We're the ideal hotel for Theatre breaks, Illuminations breaks, conference delegates, families and small coach parties. A tram or bus stop is only yards away taking you to the golden mile, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, WaterWorld Cleveleys and popular Fleetwood Market and Freeport. We offer a breakfast to remember you have a choice of fruit juice, cereals, tea, coffee, toast with jams and marmalade and a full 8 item English breakfast all cooked fresh for your enjoyment, plus evening meals, again 4 course in our restaurant can be ordered. Special meals can also be catered for; ask our chef. When the sun goes down join us in our cosy bar where entertainment is there on some special dates (please ask).
