    The Alumhurst is an Award Winning, town centre, family run, 2 Star Visit Britain Hotel. We have been established for 40 years in 2011 and to celebrate we have upgraded some rooms and renovated the ground floor. We are in the centre of Britains favourite resort, close to the Prom, the Tower, the Winter Gardens Ballrooms and Theatre complex, the Grand Theatre, our wonderful new shopping centre and all the town centre night clubs and bars. We take pride in offering you spotlessly clean rooms for 1, 2, 3 or 4 guests. Premier, Retro 70's and Traditional rooms. All are en suite with private shower rooms, Flat Screen TV's with full Freeview and integral DVD players, Tea & Coffee facilities, comfortable beds. Some Premier rooms have Kingsize beds and 2 have Super Kingsize beds. We also have a small lift that takes the hard work out of getting yourself and your luggage to your bedroom. Our chef takes pleasure in offering you nourishing, well cooked breakfasts and evening meals in our nrely renovated dining room, using local produce where possible, and coping with special dietary requirements is no problem to them. Our comfortable bar is open every evening and stocks a wide range of drinks. We have a pool table, music centre, dart board, quiz machine and one armed bandit. We welcome children in the bar and there are some games for them. We have limited free parking outside that can be reserved if available. 15% Discounts offered to Seniors in June and August. Coach parties are welcome, discounts and a free place are available on 30 guests or more. We do not accommodate all male groups and welcome well behaved Hen Parties.       Talbot Road/Lonsdale Road|Coach|0|From Talbot Road Bus Station pick up the instructions from the railway station starting at Cookson Street. It is just outside the bus station. From Lonsdale Road Coach Station either a taxi costing about £3 or a walk through the coach park into the car park and follow directions leaving the car park into Central Drive. Blackpool Int. Airport|Air|4|A taxi is virtually the only option. Cost about £10. 20 minute bus service outside the airport,(No 7) If taking the bus get off on Central Drive near to town centre and walk through Reads Ave to Coronation St. Charnley Rd is 2nd right off there. Any guests flying into Manchester or Liverpool Airports are asked to contact us in advance with all flight details and we will be happy to arrange discounted transport for you. From taxis to People Carriers to Coaches. Prices on application. Blackpool North Station|Train|1|Easiest option is a taxi costing about £6. You can walk by taking a right as you come through the tunnel leaving the station and crossing the junction at the end towards the right. This will take you into Cookson Street and at the end of there croass another junction into South King Street. Walk along to end, cross top of Albert Road and Charnley Road in next left. the Alumhurst is down the street about 200 yards away on the right. M55|Road|1|Leacing M55 directly across the roundabout is Yeadon Way. Continue to end of this road until you are virtually under the Tower. Turn right to exit and left into Central Drive. This is a one way street. Get into right lane when possible. Follow round by McDonalds upto traffic lights at Debenhams. Turn right and Charnley Road is first left turn. The Alumhurst is on the right about 75 yards in on the right.
