    The Spotted Cow dates from 1602 and has been extended over the years accommodating an award winning restaurant with luxury accommodation in two en suite rooms with four poster beds, plus a family suite with separate living room and pull down sofa bed. The current Owner Fiona Gilchrist owns and operate the business on a day to day basis with Fiona looking after the front of house and Head Chef, Rob Baker running the kitchen. The restaurant has won accolades and awards including midlands food pub of the year 2007 and is recognised by the celiac society as a venue suitable for people with food intolerances and allergies. Fiona and her daughter are lactose intolerant and are therefore aware of what problems this can cause when eating out. The Spotted Cow has almost an all female staff out front and is family friendly, Fiona has a young family and their motto is “we will make it somewhere we would go” The Spotted sources all food and beer from local suppliers and always has a range of local beers on offer.
