    The Horse & Groom is loacted in the picturesque village of Milcombe near Banbury. A quiet attractive old country inn in a lovely village close to Banbury Stratford Chipping Norton and the Cotswolds.With golf courses and fishing within walking distance. At the front of the building is a lovely enclosed patio area surrounded by planters filled with a collection of herb plants. The traditional bar has a stone floor seating for around 25 customers & a wood-burning stove at either end. There's a small snug with a darts throw and comfy leather sofa. At the rear of the building is a dining room which can seat upto 50 people. This area has been completely re-designed as a contemporary eating area. Historic Banbury is famed for many things namely its cakes the nursery rhyme “Ride a Cock Horse” and the Oxford Canal. However as well as all this it is a thriving town in North Oxfordshire with lots more to offer its visitors with nearby Broughton Castle providing a stunning backdrop in many films such as “Shakespeare in Love”. If you want some retail therapy then Bicester Designer Outlet Village is just 30 minutes drive away. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PUB & DINING ROOM IS CLOSED ON SUNDAY EVENINGS.
