Sycamore House is located on a quiet lane close to the river Aln which leads to a tradition country coaching inn. The house is just a 15 minute walk to Alnmouth and its sandy beaches. Sycamore House is well situated for visiting Northumberland where you can enjoy walking, cycling, golfing, fishing or taling in the local sights such as Alnwick Castle and Gardens. You can see Coquet Island from the house and Alnmouths sandy beaches are nearby. As well as its beaches Alnmouth boasts various pubs, shops, restaurants and a local Golf course. The wild and beautiful countryside is well worth exploring and there are numerous castles to visit on Northumberlands famous coastal route. Northumberland is England's most northern county, a magical place filled with ancient castles, golden sand beaches, rolling hills, rugged moorland and friendly little Northumberland towns and villages. Alnwick is fast becoming one of the country's top tourist destinations, and when you visit you'll soon discover why.
