The Barr Farm House Bed & Breakfast

Barr Farmhouse sits peacefully next to a working farm on one side of the natural bowl that surrounds Dumfries. In its own gardens, it commands breath-taking views to the hills on the far side of the valley. An attractive, traditional farmhouse, full of character dating back to the early 1800s, it was completely refurbished in 2005 to a high standard. Presently, we have two rooms available. There is full oil-fired central heating, a log burning stove in the cosy drawing room and each bedroom has its own private facilities. With a separate private entrance at one end of the property, guests may enjoy the independence of coming and going as they wish and are most welcome to stroll around any of the garden areas to soak in the views....more
