We were looking for a place to stay near our daughter in NE Washington DC, during a trip over New Years. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially since the price was so inexpensive. What a wonderful surprise! It was more like an apartment than a bed & breakfast. A spacious livingroom, king-size bed in the bedroom...and a stocked refrigerator. We didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this inn to anyone staying in the DC area.

What a gem in the world of big city hospitality. The rooms were clean. The bath and kitchen were new. Two blocks from the Red Line and a fabulous restaurant right downstairs---we could not have asked for a better experience. Their website is an honest representation of what you get, so check it out.

The best "hotel" bed we've ever experienced. When I come again, I'll ask for an upper floor as we heard our upstairs neighbors when they walked around. Very clean, very comfortable

    Very charming and cozy

We came to Washington in March, 2010 so my son could visit Catholic University . I wanted a place to stay that was within walking distance of the University and the Metro. We were pleasantly surprised by this quaint inn. The rooms are remodeled apartments. We booked a two-bedroom suite which included a living room, bathroom, and kitchenette. The suite was very clean, cozy, and charming. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items - coffee, tea, muffins, juice, milk, cereal, oatmeal. There were even small containers of raisins and dried cranberries for the cereal. We spent three days there and it was like a home away from home. There is a housekeeper there during the day and she was very friendly and helpful. The day we were leaving, my car wouldn't start - a dead battery. I was going to call AAA when she offered to call another staff person. He was there within 15 minutes and jumped my car for no charge. We would definitely stay at this inn again.
