We had a perfect weekend at Akwaaba's DC property. Lovely Langston Hughes Room with balcony and jacuzzi and perfect attention from our hostess. Loved it!

The Langston Hughes Suite offers a king sized bed, decorative fireplace and private bath with 2 person Jacuzzi tub.The Romance Suite offers guests a queen sized canopy bed, decorative fireplace and private bath with double sized shower. All guests are served a full hot cooked breakfast each morning, family style, 8am weekdays and 9am weekends. For those guests who may need to depart earlier, a continental style breakfast is available from 7:30 am.
Inspiration Suite- This guest room is located on the fourth floor of the house and features a king sized Iron bed, and a private bath. The antique claw foot soaking tub ensures a tranquil spot to relax, unwind and recapture all that is going on in your life. As with all guest rooms, television with cable and DVD player, and wireless Internet access are provided. All guests are served a full hot cooked breakfast each morning, family style, 8am weekdays and 9am weekends. For those guests who may need to depart earlier, a continental style breakfast is available from 7:30 am.For our guests who might need 2 beds or parties of 3 or 4, we offer the Poetry suite. Situated on the fourth floor, this room features 2 queen sized beds and a private shower only bath. All rooms include television with cable and wireless Internet access. Guests are treated to a hot cooked breakfast served family style at 8am weekdays or 9am weekends. Visitors who need to depart earlier will find a continental  style breakfast available from 7:30am
