    Central Copenhagen: a clean, light, comfortable and quiet place: a room with twin beds, private entrance, wireless internet, cable TV, electric kettle and free tea/coffee. Also a single room with similar amenities, although without TV The shower is shared and just a step from the room, and although small, it is a fine example of practical Danish design. Linen, soap and towels are included.(Sorry, third floor, no elevator and non-smoking.) The place is conveniently situated in Islands Brygge, a residential water-front district very near the city center. The area has a unique blend of old and new architecture, small shops, cafes, pubs, artists' studios and a harbour swimming pool. Many of Copenhagen's main sights and attractions within walking distance; for example, it is just a 10-minute walk to Tivoli Gardens, and a fascinating 20-minute walk to the quaint streets of Christianshavn. Other places are easy to get to, as there are frequent bus services and a Metro station close by (only 5 minutes to Bella Center). The journey to and from the airport is only 25 minutes, door to door, and it takes no more than a few minutes to walk to Copenhagen University's Faculty of Humanities. Warm and friendly welcome. Environmentally friendly household. Secure cellar for cycle storage.

      From central station (Hovedbanegård: Bus number 250S in the direction: Islands Brygge/ Artillerivej. The journey will only take a few minutes. Get off at Isafjordsgade. Walk to the corner, in the same direction that the bus is traveling, Turn right, then left into Egilsgade and walk down to number 41.

      Take the Metro (direction Vanløse) and change at Christianshavn. At Christianshavn you just walk cross the platform, and then take the train going to Vestamager just one stop to Islands Brygge. Leave the station by the elevator, or exit closest to it. On leaving the elevator, turn to the right and walk to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, cross the road to the left and walk towards the 7-Eleven shop on the corner of Artillerivej and Njalsgade. Go left along Njalsgade for a few steps then turn right into Egilsgade
