The Lazy L is located on 8 private and secluded acres just outside the town of Lewes, Delaware. Situated on the edge of a tidal creek vibrant with birds and wildlife, this 6 room B+B has got it all! Comfortable large rooms, outdoor swimming pool, large living rooms, guest kitchen, hot tub, pool table, free wireless internet, HBO and much much more. For a relaxing break from your hectic schedule, come get lazy at the Lazy L. Well behaved, housebroken pets are welcome. We have 1 acre fenced in for off leash play and are 5 miles from several dog friendly beaches.

Guests traveling from the Metro Washington/Baltimore area take the Bay Bridge to Rt. 404 to Route 16 east. When Route 16 intersects Highway #1, turn right and check your odometer, we are 4.5 miles south on Route #1. Look on the left side of the Highway for Clinic by the sea (Doctors office). Turn left at the Clinic onto Willow Creek Road, journay 3/10s of a mile in, look for our sign on the right #16061 Willow Creek Road.

Hi! My name is CHEW & I am a rescued chow mix. I just got back from my 6th vacation in a row at the “Lazy L” in Lewes, DE. I had a great time in the spacious dog run, smelling flowers & meeting other dogs. After playing in the run, my family & I rested by the pool. I laid in the shade under the cabana taking in the sites & smells. After the pool we went to our room, the “Lighthouse” room overlooking Willow Creek. The room was clean, cool & spacious with a refrigerator, flat screen HDTV & coffee maker. Debbie & Joanne give me treats too! I hope my mom brings me again next year coz i love it here!!!! I always have a WOOFIN Good Time : ) : ) : )

My husband and I and our two Pekingese spent a relaxing weekend at the Lazy L in mid-June. From the time you arrive and are handed a sheet with information on local dog-friendly beaches and restaurants, to being shown around the very dog friendly property, you will feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, and they even supply a sheet to place over the bedspread for the dogs that sleep with Mom & Dad. Dogs are also welcome to join everyone for breakfast on the sun porch. My husband has to have a gluten free diet and they even made special muffins and pancakes just for him. It is a 6 mile drive over to downtown Rehboth, but depending on the time of day, it isn't bad. We have stayed in other supposed " Dog Friendly " places, but they really couldn't compare to the Lazy L. The fact that it is only a one-time charge for each dog ($20), not by the night, is a real bonus also! We were not the only ones there to have more than 1 dog. We certaintly enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay there for all people that enjoy traveling with their dogs.

These folks really know how to run a B&B. They were so gracious, yet very down-to-earth. We stayed in the cottage, and it was quiet and comfortable, and breakfasts were delicious.

Loved the heated pool and hot tub. The other guests were friendly, and the dog run was wonderful. Sunrise over the creek was spectacular. We look forward to a return trip.
