"Best way to visit Montreal!"

"Can't imagine a better B&B experience or a better way to see Montreal...Ephraim & Yves have a beautiful B&B in the perfect location and are fabulous hosts! We'd made last-minute plans for a Spring Break visit (traveling w/college-age daughters) and reserved the Champlain Room for the four of us. On check-in, however, Ephraim insisted on making another room available for the girls and I began to realize we were in for a treat. Recent snow had complicated on-street parking a bit but he encouraged us to see if we could squeeze our car into one of the garage spots and it worked (just barely!) as there's no need for a car otherwise. This was our first visit to Montreal but I can't imagine a better location...all the attractions of the Plateau right next door, walking distance to Old Montreal, McGill, & downtown, and close to the Metro (Sherbrooke). We had wonderful recommendations for dinner, shopping, & sightseeing. And - oh yeah - the breakfasts...they're just as fabulous as they sound in other reviews & pretty much over-the-top. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated...all the charm of an 1885 vintage home, add flat screen TV & wifi, and top off with baths that are totally modern and large (as others have noted, not much to worry if you're sharing a bath). I really can't imagine a better place to stay in Montreal...the only downside is the word is clearly out and advance bookings will make short-notice stays tough...you'll want to plan ahead if coming in the warm weather! Would be great for a romantic get-away but a perfect fit for our family as well...5 stars++!"
