A. V. Pension Praha is a cosy family Bed & Breakfast in a quiet residential quarter of Prague. The B&B is located nearby the Shopping Center Chodov and the business center V Parku (IBM, Dell, Sony, DHL, Accenture, Mercedes, etc). The Pension has a beautiful garden with a terrace, a summer-swimming pool and an outdoor fireplace. It is located only 200 meters (about 220 yards) from the subway station “Chodov” which is only a 12 minute ride to the historic centre of Prague. It has seven double rooms and one triple apartment with a separate kitchen and bath. Most of double-rooms have a private bathroom or shower. Each room is equipped with mini-bar, WiFi connection to Internet, color satellite TV and electric kettle with cups, teabags and coffee. Our guests may also use the free access to Internet. We serve buffet type breakfasts. Near to our pension there are several restaurants that have a good reputation and provide tasteful and inexpensive meals (Restaurant Starochodovska 28). In our neighborhood, there is an interesting gallery of modern and spiritual art Galerie cesty ke svetlu (Gallery of the Way to the Light), where you may find pictures of a famous Czech painter Zdenek Hajný. Taking a short walk, you can visit a medieval rotunda from 13th century Chodovská tvrz with a functional concert hall, gallery and a restaurant. Ramblers and open air activities fanciers will be pleased to walk or jog in the Kunratice and the Hostivar wood-parks.

Jarta was an attentive and delightful host. She had breakfast ready each morning and served us the most wonderful latte's with a smile each morning! She was still kind after I knocked out a breaker the first night; she let us use her adapter the remainder of the stay. The pool was small but wonderful to cool off in at the end of a long day. Our room had air conditioning and she turned it on for us before we returned after a particularly hot day. She knew we would be miserable. I didn't know what to expect on my first trip to Europe in the Czech Republic but she made all in my group feel welcome and special!

This bed and breakfast offers a lot at a very low cost. It feels cozy and homely, not like an impersonal hotel, but more like in a small family. The room and bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast, great flexibility and openness. It's five minutes away from the metro station Chodov, where also a big shopping center is situated. I would like to stay there again and recommend it highly to anybody wishing for a quite place to rest.

Good size rooms with table and chairs as well as bed and rooms very clean. Convenient to downturn 15 minutes on subwaz to citz center and subwaz runs late and starts early. Great coffee to get you going in the morning. Hosts friendly and helpful. have stayed twice already and would stay again.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, only 5 minute walk to the Metro and the largest mall in Prague. We stayed in room 5, which had a balcony with a view to the gardens, absolutely lovely since Prague was in bloom. The staff was great and very helpfull with information on how to get around Prague. Breakfast was plentifull and may I say the coffe was the best on our entire trip.

Our ¿zech colleague has recommended this place to us and this January was our second stay at A. V. Pension Praha. Our favourite rooms are 5 and 6!!! We like this pension because it isn't very expensive, located in a quiet district with private houses with small gardens, it's not far from the city center (15 min by underground). It's a good place for businessmen, couples and families with children. But! if you are young and noisy, looking for nightlife, it's better to find another place to accommodate at:))

Coming to Prague, Czech Republic, on D1 Expressway take 2B Exit, continue along Chilská Street straight through one set of traffic lights and pass Opatov subway station. On Litochlebské Square roundabout take the third exit to Türkova Street. Then turn at the first opportunity left, followed by a right turn to Starochodovská Street. This will lead you to K Remízku Street after a sharp bend to the left . Take the third street left to our Malebná Street; our Bed & Breakfast is the fourth house on the right side. For easier orientation print out map on .pension-praha.cz From the train station "Praha Hlavní nádrazí" or "Praha Holesovice" go by subway line "C" directly to the subway station "Chodov" (Direction HAJE). On subway station "CHODOV" go first exit left. At the top of stairs go across foot bridge (expressway E50, E65). Malebná Street is the second transverse street. Here go left; our house ( No 75 ) is the fourth on your left.
