We had the most wonderful 4 nights staying in Villa Menorah where we experienced truly warm hospitality, stayed in a beautifully appointed room with large verandah overlooking village and hills and were thoroughly spoiled. Having mentioned we were celebrating our silver anniversary, we arrived home one day to find a bottle of sparkling rose on a silver tray left out for us by Sandra. Our stay was punctuated by these acts of thoughtfulness and was the icing on the cake of a special holiday. Breakfast was delicious and varied with great coffee. We can highly recommend Villa Menorah as a lovely relaxing place to stay.

I have traveled extensively over the past 25 years, staying in many establishments, and can honestly say that this was one of the nicest. It was spotless, inviting and beautifully appointed. Service was exceptional, warm and gracious. All the amenities were provided. Room and attached veranda were spacious and in excellent condition. The food was varied and delicious, abundant and artistically presented.

When I stayed at Villa Menorah, I definitely found a hidden treasure worth discovering. Nestled in the rolling hills outside Larnaca, the guest house is beautifully situated in the sleepy Greek Cypriot village of Agia Anna. This bed and breakfast is a charming, rustic villa which has been lovingly restored. The decor is simple but tasteful. The bedrooms have an intimate feel. Just outside each bedroom is a picturesque veranda good for reading and relaxing. At night, you can sit on the porch or next to the window and watch the stars go by. (Wait long enough and you might even see a meteor or two.) The living area downstairs feels cozy and warm. I appreciated that everything was immaculately clean and tidy. Sandra, the owner and hostess of Villa Menorah, does her best to make sure each guest feels welcome and comfortable. She strives to prepare sumptous candlelight dinners which are elegantly presented. I felt like I had stepped into the pages of "Better Homes and Gardens" as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this delightful bed and breakfast. Villa Menorah is a wonderful hide-away where you can escape the stress and hubbub of city life or the turmoil of the Middle East to come apart and simply be. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a restful refuge where they can relax and be recharged. L Wright Houston, Texas

I came to Cyprus for a weekend of rest after three months of intensive work in Lebanon. I found a beautiful house in the hills behind Larnaca, tastefully furnished with a mixture of modern and antique pieces, surrounded by a pretty garden. I was received warmly by my hostess Sandra and I felt very welcome at any moment throughout the three days of my stay. At times, I almost forgot I was a paying guest. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of my private covered balcony, and slept like a baby in a cosy and romantically decorated room. Sandra went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, picking me up from and dropping me off at the airport and even agreeing to make dinner for me. I highly recommend Villa Menorah for anyone in search of a peaceful place to feel at home away from home.

Our overnight stay was to celebrate our 30th wedding Anniversary. Villa Menorah is placed in a lovely country setting, spacious, and so tastefully appointed. Sandra has a real gift as a host, both sensitive to our needs and intelligent in conversation. The music at our evening meal - over candlelight on the verandah, beautiful rooms, the stars at night, the lovely piano, the great breakfast, what a superb stay!

A great time to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. After 30 years of marriage it was a lovely way to enjoy good food, and be throughly looked after. All modern conviences and a wonderful welcome. You won't be dissapointed.

This was a fabulous getaway for me. The staff went above and beyond just bed and breakfast with little extras put in my refrigerator during the day. Very clean and refreshing. A quiet place in a greek village to rest and relax.
