My wife and I stayed with Sandra for 5 nights at the beginning of August and had an outstanding experience. The hospitality and attention to detail that Sandra showed was beyond anything we expected or had experienced anywhere else. The location, only 15-20 minutes from the Larnaka airport, was perfect with easy access to the good highways yet still in the countryside. A very friendly taverna was only 100 meters or less from Menorah and provided excellent local touches...including one evening meal of kleftiko which was off the charts! I recommend the Menorah for anyone who is looking for a nice quiet get away with a personal touch you just won't find anywhere else.

A wonderful hideaway above Larnaka - perfect for a relaxing stay in a Cypriot village. Sandra provides a warm welcome and a fabulous breakfast and an evening at the local taverna tops off a highlight of your Cypriot experience.

My wife and I stayed here two nights - our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Sandra is a charming host; we felt more like family than paying guests. Her breakfasts are sensational, and an amazing range of fresh and cooked items is available - and the offering is different each day. Great coffee made with freshly ground beans. Location is great for exploring the historic, cultural and touristic sites in the area. Lovely gardens complement the tasteful decor and fittings inside: charming traditional style, but with modern, good quality facilities. Useful to have a small kitchen with fridge and cooker. Lovely private bath/shower. Shaded terrace leading off bedroom was cool and welcoming, supplied with comfortable furniture. Other terraces provided pleasing alternatives in terms of views and shade. Great views of the white limestone hills and mountains that loom over the picturesque village - which has two good tavernas and a small supermarket. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Villa Menorah and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Staying at Villa Menorah affords the best of both worlds: relaxing in a quaint, quiet Cypriot village with easy access to nearby towns with beaches, shopping, restaurants and history galore. The hospitality and outstanding food made it a perfect get away for me.

The Villa Menorah Guesthouse is a quaint little cottage located in a quiet little town on the island, not too far of a drive from the city of Larnaca. Sandra, the guesthouse caretaker, was more than helpful, quite accommodating and a joy to talk with. Staying here felt like I was visiting a good friend I hadn't seen in a while or staying the weekend with a long-lost relative. I really enjoyed the classic style of the house, mixed with modern amenities, such as a nicely renovated bathroom. The shower's water pressure is phenomenal! The furniture was comfy (the bed's heated blanket was a nice winter touch!), and sitting on the room's balcony with the mid-day winter sun beaming down was quite agreeable. The house and area are quiet, and the food is stellar. The guesthouse is also within a short walking distance of the beautiful town center and a small grocery store. About the only disagreeable thing about the stay at Villa Menorah is you may just go away feeling like a thief, because the price is just too good for the great experience you get. Highly recommended.

The Menorah Guest House is situated in a pretty village surrounded by trees and attractive hills. The House itself is comfortable and tastefully furnished with a peacefull atmosphere. Sandra is a gentle, caring lady who makes every effort to ensure the needs of her guests are fully met. There are self catering facilities within the House and a local taverna only minutes away where excellent meals are served at reasonable cost. There is everything one could wish for in this delightful Guest House.

We had the most wonderful 4 nights staying in Villa Menorah where we experienced truly warm hospitality, stayed in a beautifully appointed room with large verandah overlooking village and hills and were thoroughly spoiled. Having mentioned we were celebrating our silver anniversary, we arrived home one day to find a bottle of sparkling rose on a silver tray left out for us by Sandra. Our stay was punctuated by these acts of thoughtfulness and was the icing on the cake of a special holiday. Breakfast was delicious and varied with great coffee. We can highly recommend Villa Menorah as a lovely relaxing place to stay.
