An exquisite antique, sun filled manor house. The rooms are so charming and comfortable with every amenity provided. The many quilted bed affords a sleep that is worth the trip. The house is completely terraced on a hill, valley overlook. The view is gorgeous and a perfect place for cocktails or hot chocalate. The host Regine is warm, charming and attentive to every detail. A delightful respite of tranquility, serenity and warmth.

My husband surprised me for my 46th birthday with a weekend at Hidden Valley. I had seen this inn and had saved it on our computer, hoping to one day visit, as it looked SO amazing to me!! I WAS RIGHT, it was amazing, from the moment we arrived Regine was SO freindly and accomodating, simply put, she is a diamond in the ruff, I have stayed at may B&B's over the years and this put them all to shame, it is like spending the weekend in the pages of "English Country Living" magaine, the house is unbelievable, it is impeccable but SO cozy and inviting, you feel comfortable, just like you are visiting an old friend in the European countryside, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS B&B ENOUGH!! I am already making plans to take my husband back as a surprise.

We visited for a winter weekend getaway with another family, and Regine, the innkeeper, accommodated both of our large families (10 guests total) very comfortably. Even when completely snow-covered, the home and grounds are exquisitely beautiful, and Regine's warm welcome and hospitality make us want to visit again soon! We enjoyed delicious dining at restaurants recommended by Regine, drinks & treats by the fireplace, exploring the beautiful countryside and towns, and relaxing in this beautiful home. Our children enjoyed unparalleled sledding on the grounds, playing with the dogs, skiing at nearby Mohawk, and playing in the upstairs nursery. All this on a quiet winter weekend! We look forward to seeing what the other seasons offer on future visits. We could not recommend this bed and breakfast more highly.

This a the real thing. A country house in a very beautiful place in the Litchfield Hills in rural Connecticut. I have been in all seasons and the beauty of the grounds and woods are always outstanding. The rooms and beds are delightful, comfortable, and so very tasteful. The views from the rooms and the peaceful setting invite lounging in the room. The neighboring area is incredbly diverse from antique stores to great eating to so many outdoor activities! The innkeeper is charming and gracious and well read. She goes out of her way to make all her guests feel very welcome here.

Our entire family - 2 adults, a 4 yr old, 2 yr old & a dog - all stayed at Hidden Valley in the peak of fall and it was simply magical! There were no other guests on our floor and we also had the whole top floor which is an excellent playroom & sleeping quarters for the children. Regine was fantastic and has impeccably decorated & designed her home. The views were second to none; the home is up on a hill looking down into a beaautiful valley. We will definitely be returning next fall!

Hidden Valley B&B is a wonderful, secluded getaway! We have never stayed at a B&B that offered such wonderful service and amenities! Regine was an incredible host, who attended to our every need. Whether it was providing maps and directions to places, setting up reservations at nearby restaurants, offering us wine and cheese, or just sharing with us her dynamic personality and conversations, she made our stay the most comfortable that it could possibly have been. Not to mention that the breakfast was so amazing! We could have stayed by the fireplace all night and not even gone to our room. Speaking of, we stayed in the Red Suite, which offered its own entrance, private bathroom, private kitchen area, and wonderful views of the valley below. It was great watching the sun come up from our room! What you get for the price is incredible, and the attention to detail was something that you just don't find at other places. Hidden Valley was a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back!
