WELCOME TO THE NEWLY RENOVATED HERITAGE INN Our B&B is listed on the National Historic Register c.1870. The Inn has been remodeled and upgraded to include wireless internet access throughout the hotel. We have added a business center for our out of town guests and wall mounted flat screen televisions in our guest rooms. All furniture and bedding has been custom made to make your stay with us as comfortable and luxurious as possible. Throughout the renovation process we were able to keep many of the historic features of the hotel including all of the original beams. An elevator shaft and various mechanical devices that were used when the property was originally built as a tobacco warehouse have been preserved. Rooms include a hot breakfast each morning or if you would prefer to choose something from our deluxe continental selection this is available also. An expresso machine adds the extra get up and go our corporate clients love each morning.

We were on our way to New York City for the weekend and decided to stop here for rest. Nice little B&B in a nice small town. The downturn area that is about a one minute walk away is very nice with a small movie theater and some nice restaurants. Very enjoyable experience

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Ther Heritage Inn of Litchfield County in mid-October of 2008, following a day of sightseeing and leaf-peeping along highways and by-ways between Mystic Seaport and New Milford. Our room was lovely - a king bed, as requested, along with a workdesk with a comfortable chair, WiFi, and a wall mounted flat-panel TV. The room also included a loveseat and coffee table, an oversized antique armoir, and a more than adequate private bath. The breakfast included sausage and egg burritos, toast, muffins, etc., bacon, and cooked to order eggs. Lovely! We spent the evening wandering through the charming downtown area and had an incredible dinner at a local fine Italian restaurant. Excellent. We will definitely plan to visit The Heritage Inn of Litchfield County when we are in the area.

Nice and clean. Breakfast was o.k. Staff very friendly. Hall had a musty smell. The room needed some fixup on the ceiling. Good location, close to restaurants and nice places to take walks.

The Heritage Inn is located right in the heart of New Milford, walking distance to everything in town. We had a very comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great value.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the bathroom. Very nice flat screen tv and in walking distance to restaurants and ice cream parlor. we would definitly stop by again
