    ISLA LOS ANGELES (Angels Island) is a unique upscale Inn, the perfect place to come home to after an exciting day exploring the wonders of Costa Rica. Situated in the center of an 8 acre private park with semi tropical landscaping and lush coffee fields,it affords total privacy for guests, as it is surrounded by 2 flowing rivers with access only by a private gated bridge. We are just about in the center of Costa Rica at an altitude that provides the perfect climate all year(bug free too) well above the tropical heat.For our quests that enjoy very warm weather and balmy seas, we are only 2 hours by car from the caribbean beaches,and 1.5 hours from the pacific by the new highway. Both perfect for a daytrip...Where else in the world can you swim in the pacific ocean one day,and in the caribbean sea the next...

    Peaceful and Relaxing

    After the hub-bub of travel and driving through San Jose's traffic, we really enjoyed the peaceful nature of this place. The rooms were huge, the bed was ideal and the bathrooms are large, private and luxurious. The public area of the home is an open great room concept with plenty of room to relax without being bothered by other guests. There was a very nice indoor pool without the chemical smell you get with most indoor pools. Very relaxing. We toured the grounds. It was previously a coffee plantation and you feel isolated when you walk the grounds. There are walking paths and plenty to see if you enjoy nature. This would be an ideal place to have a company retreat or family reunion. We didn't use the wireless internet access because we were on vacation. But it was available. Didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on the food. We shall come again. Thanks!
