The Hidden Garden is a small, family-run jungle lodge. We provide individualized attention and offer natural treatments, alternative learning experiences, exciting ecological tours and healing vacation packages. Our sustainable and organic garden is home to over 100 medicinal plants, delicious foods, beautiful birds, exotic butterflies and other jungle wildlife. We are located between the rainforest and the beach, just outside the enchanting Caribbean village of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica

To stay at Jardin Escondido is an adventure in the Costa Rican djungle. The garden is truly amazing with humiming birds, butterflies and animals and birds that you possibly can recognize from Disney movies. To stay in the company of owner Rachel Thomas does not only give you piece of mind but she will also take care of your complete health. Three times a week you can join yoga classes in your own home. Me and my husband stayed for two months and it´s an adventure we´ll never forget. Thank you!
