BETWEEN THE SOUND AND THE SUNSET. . .is a grand nineteenth century manor estate surrounded by expansive lawn, majestic maples and flowering shrubbery. The inn is in the historic district and is about 3/4 mile to downtown. The West Lane Inn uniquely combines the graceful charm of an intimate country inn with every convenience of a luxurious large hotel. Amenities abound...spacious individually appointed and climate controlled rooms, some with fireplaces, with 1 or 2 queensized four-poster beds or one kingsized bed, private full baths, free wireless DSL, flat screen TVS, satellite HD TV, free continental breakfast. Rooms and Suite in the cottage are available with kitchenettes and private decks. With much to do...an irresistible array of award winning restaurants, museums, boutiques, ...plus golf, hiking, swimming and many other year-round activities. Bernard's Inn , next door to us, serves lunch and dinner.
