Rural and quiet. On a hill overlooking the village common and white-spired church. Good cycling and hiking area. Ten minutes to Putnam and Pomfret, thirty to Worcester, forty-five to Sturbridge.
Mrs. Zimmerman is as warm and friendly as your very own Grandma. Breakfast is delicious and the decor is cozy. We loved our stay at Thurber House
