Roseledge Herb Farm, homestead of the colonial John Meech 1720.
Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, we are surrounded by award winning winerys.
Our herbery at dusk a lovely way to watch the fireflies twinkle in the dark. We grown the herbs and flowers served in our country breakfasts. This are is candlelit in the evenings.
Welcome to Roseledge Herb Farm
New England Autumn.
Avery Browning
Creeping thyme, creeps along the stone paths in our abundant gardens!
Very early spring, ruhbarb and mini daffs.
Organis farming allows us to garnish and cook with the herbs we raise (and sell) on the farm.
Free range chickens give us our breakfast eggs, Cat mint a favorite of the bees that live here on the farm is also a favotite with the cats!
The lush green of summer, iris bloom in many colors here at the farm.
A iron hoop once the rim of a buggy wheel leans against the long stone walls on of the many that surround the farm. Astilbie, solomon seal, and hostas form blanktets of color in this shade garden.
We enjoy plants all through the B&B, these we brought in in the fall, and a sunny window keeps them blooming all winter long.
"Kitten" our indoor cat, enjoys watching the birds even if it means a snow covered view!
A bit of "old Fashion" in a modern bathroom! This antique "potty chair" and wash stand are some of the antiques you will fine in our B&B.
Iron stone is a favorite of mine, notice the sunlight on the old plaster wall.
John Meech 1720, to the left of the tree is the tunnel opening. To the right of the tree is the old stone steps with an iron gate.

In honor of her birthday, I treated my daughter to an overnight stay at Roseledge. I put in a special request for vegan fare for me and flowers for my daughter and Gail came through! The house and yard were all decked out for Halloween, just adding to its inherent enchantment. We also very much enjoyed our tour of the gardens, the fanciful chickens, and historic details about the house, such as the large tunnels underneath.

Old houses are such a prize! Reminds me of an old house in Voluntown; nothing square and nothing level, but very livable! Our visit was very pleasant and the food delicious! Great memories with my friend!
