Extremely friendly staff and a beautiful place to stay by the water. Would return again.

I was surpreside by the Inn, the site is beautiful, accommodations and breakfast are great. But what worth the stay was the friendly welcome from the owners and all the staff. I had gotten from Brazil and had this nice, warm and cozy place to spend a couple of days. The food and the complimentary beverage and snacks made me feel at home.

The staff could not be friendlier and more helpful! They all make the experience so pleasant. Location of the Inn right on the adds so much to the stay.

We recently spent a couple of days at The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina to celebrate my birthday. My husband and I had never been to a " bed & breakfast" so I researched a little and came across this inn. I was excited to go, however my husband was a little skeptical. Well, needless to say, our stay there was wonderful! The innkeepers, Dave & Sue, and their staff, made sure that our weekend was everything we planned for. They were warm and friendly and gave us great ideas for choosing restaurants or any nearby activties, if we chose to do so. The room was spotlessly clean, very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast they served each morning was delicious and the conversations with Dave & Sue were like meeting up with old friends we haven't seen. It was a perfect place to spend my birthday! And oh, by the way, my husband (who was the skeptic about B & B's,) said he would definitely go back to The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina again!!

We stayed in room 3 and it had the most beautiful view of the marina. The Inn is beautiful and well kept and the staff are great. The yard is gorgeous and I would love to go back during the spring or summer to enjoy the outdoors a bit more. We went in Feb. so it was cold and rained the entire weekend, but we made very good use of our fireplace and the boardgames at the Inn. We had the pecan french toast and it was yummy, but I would have liked more of a complete breakfast because it was just french toast and then some bakery items from the buffet.

We both enjoyed our stay. It truly was a special night for both of us! Both Dick and I will be back very soon!

We really enjoyed the Inn! We received a great price for a Sunday night at this Inn. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine/cup of tea when we arrived! My husband and I have stayed at the Inn at Harbor Hill several times. Each time we leave we are planning our next visit. This last trip there was during the Blizzard of 2013, the way that Sue and Dave took care of all of our needs and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable was amazing. They are both so outgoing and friendly..they make you feel like part of their family!! This trip was the first time we stayed in the Captain Clark House which is absolutely beautiful and I look forward to staying there again in the near future.

The hospitality of Dave and Sue was exceptional. I felt so comfortable with fireplaces and serene views of the marina from my windows and balcony on all three sides. The delicious breakfast in the morining as well as making sure I was comfortable at all times. Their staff was also wonderful personally making me chocolate chip cookies for my room and the friendly conversation. I can't wait to go back again. I will remember it always.

My wife and I have stayed at the Inn at Harbour Hill Marina several times. It is a great place to get away from daily stresses and relax. There is always something to do, and on our first trip, we took the Train and Boat ride in nearby Essex. Since that visit, the Inn has added a new building that retains all the charm of the original B&B, but offers some more upscale amenities. We watch for specials that make an already affordable getaway even better.

My husband and I booked a last minute get-away to the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina for our first anniversary, and will absolutely return. It was perfectly delightful. Our room was spacious with two easy chairs in addition to the bed and a food prep area with mini fridge. We had a private deck overlooking the marina, and had a few fun rounds of Uno which we found in the closet. The fireplace kept the room toasty warm through-out the night, and the homemade breakfast provided by the staff in the morning was delicious. We will happily return.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first visit and our stay was extremely relaxing and pleasant. Staff was courteous and welcoming. The room was awesome. Can't wait to come back!

What a lovely surprise! The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is a gem on the Eastern Ct shoreline. Hidden away, with gorgeous views, I recommend the off-season for both the value and serenity. I stayed on the first floor with private deck, gas fireplace and comfy bed. Clean and lovely! Breakfast lovingly made by the Innkeepers themselves, the most light and delicious waffles, accompanied by fresh fruit. Good coffee. A brief, but wonderful time at Harbor Hill! Thank you!!!!!

Sue and Dave are real hosts and take pride in their inn for good reason. It exceeded our expectations for bright, clean, comfortable rooms with WiFi but still retaining that seashore charm. The service was excellent with sue and the staff checking all the places for hours and hanging in there to make reservations for us at tough restaurants. We looked at many inns and chose this one and will do so again.

We booked the Winter Special and had a really great weekend at the bed and breakfast. The facilities and the grounds were well kept, breakfast was delicious, and the inn keepers were very friendly. We would definitely come back again when it's warmer.

my wife and i stayed at the inn on october 20, 2012 for a one night get away the room was clean beyond our expectations. the staff was very helpful and warm and most of all friendly. we were in room 8 and it was so beautiful there with the morning sunrise and the sound of the water. can't wait till next october

What a wonderful Fall getaway! We had two nights lodging,tickets for the Steam train/boat ride and $50 towards dinner. The Inn is spotless,the grounds,impressive,room with a great view,thick towels in the bath,great snacks day and night,wine,beer,tea coffee anything you could think of all available to you. Dave was a great host.Dave had the best suggestions for places to dine,things to see and do,just a fountain of knowledge.He made it a point to greet everyone at breakfast, ask where they were from,etc.Lyn and Maureen were also very helpful during our stay. The only negative thing I have to say is: on our first morning,we went down for coffee at 7AM. We walked into the kitchen and I asked Lana if we were too early for coffee. She ssh-ed me! It was almost like a slap in the face,after everyone else had been so nice and helpful. I felt like a two year old who was being ssh-ed for talking when not spoken to. It may seem like a little thing, but to me it actually ruined my morning and had me wanting to avoid her at all costs.

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon. I don't think we could have chosen a more beautiful and relaxing location. The view of the Niantic River just beyond the beautifully manicured grounds was just perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful and giave us a feeling of being part of the family. My wife and I will surely be back for another stay.

This was our 1st visit to CT. We couldn't be happier with the inn's grounds and staff. The view from our room and the front yard was beautiful. We loved just sitting on one of the bistro tables listening to the music that surrounds them, and sharing a bottle of wine. We highly recommend the inn!

The owner was friendly and very helpful, suggesting a day trip to "antique, quiet corner of CT." The facility is beautiful and beautifully maintained. Restaurants are in walking distance.

The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed. Its setting on the Niantic River is lovely, and all of the creature comforts are provided with charm and style.

Our room was very comfortable and we felt at home. The innkeepers were very friendly without being overly friendly, just right. Beautiful views and seating outside. Close to beach.

We stayed in the Mystic Seaport Room #7. It was fantastic to wake each morning to a beautiful view of the boats in the marina while watching the sun rise. A water view from every window. Loved sitting out on our private balcony enjoying the sunshine, relaxing on the many Adirondack chairs scattered throughout the grounds and walking the docks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful in planning our excursions. Looked forward each evening to a glass of wine and fresh baked cookies. Loved smelling the scones and muffins baking in the morning, but expected a little more at breakfast than just scrambled eggs or french toast. Maybe a breakfast meat or egg casserole. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

When you think of a typical B&B, you don't visualize the luxury that the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina has to offer. Jay and I stayed in the Nautilus room the evening after our wedding and it was absolutely stunning and wonderful! Warm, friendly, comfortable & romantic! We will come again!

liked the aproximinity to marina, watching the sun set sitting in big adirondack chairs with wine glass in hand. very relaxing. I did expect better breakfast: simple scrambled eggs is too plain for B&B- add ham,bacon,veggies etc. The French toast was delicious and so was the fruit. My grandson enjoyed his daily hot chocolate

The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina was a wonderful place to celebrate our one year anniversary. Our room, service, and breakfast was outstanding. We loved the view from our room.

We absolutely love this place! This is our second year back. We enjoyed our stay so much in July that we are coming back in August. Sue and Dave are amazing. We arrived a little early and they were quick to offer us beach towels and beach passes. We've stayed in both the main inn and the Captain Clark House. They both have their strong points.....it's tough to say which is better. There are many restaurants and stores within walking distance. You will not be disappointed staying at this Inn. Did I mention the incredible view....breathtaking!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding weekend. The room and service were exceptional, and we plan to stay here every time we come back to town to celebrate our anniversary!

My husband and I are putting off our honeymoon until next year, so after the wedding last weekend (8/4) we decided to stay and this bed and breakfast. For our first time saying at a B&B it exceeded our expectations. Not only was the staff extremely welcoming and helpful, the owners were wonderful. Our room was perfect and the views were amazing. We were sad we were only staying that one night. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Shh! Don't tell anyone. If word gets out then I might have trouble getting a room the next time I want to sneak out of the city and remember what it's like to be human. The smell of fresh cookies, the view and the people. Here hospitality and customer service is not good business practice, just Sue Dave & the staff being the friendly nice people they are. I needed a break from my busy life, and this inn provided the perfect amount of fun, relaxation, excitement and experience! I will definitely be going back!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Inn. We were greeted by a friendly staff who gave us a tour of the Inn and answered all of our questions. The Inn was very clean and well kept. When we got to our room there was a card and bottle of champagne waiting for us, as we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff was very helpful and offered a lot of advice about local restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed eating our breakfast out on the porch and looked forward to the freshly baked cookies waiting for us each night. The Inn was fantastic and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

My fiance stayed in this lovely B&B for this weekend. This was my first experience with a bed & breakfast. We had a great time. Everything was so nice and the innkeepers were awesome.

I recently visited the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina for a weekend getaway with my girlfriend. When we got there we were greeted right away and taken to our beautiful room. We went with one of the lower priced of the rooms, but it was still very luxurious. We stayed in the Captain Clark House (the Inn's latest addition) and it still smelled brand new! The bed was large and comfortable, we even joked that we wanted to take the spare pillows back home with us! It was very relaxing to wake up to a delicious breakfast each morning, especially the homemade 3 Berry French Toast! The grounds of the Inn are very well-maintained, decorated with beautiful flowers. There were plenty of comfy Adirondack chairs to lounge in on the property too. We were both really impressed with the staff. Each person we made contact with was ready to help us with anything we needed. They recommended great places to visit for both lunch and dinner (The Otter Cove in Saybrook is a must visit!) and gave us a list of activities to do as well. We found plenty of nice places close-by to explore, along with the beach that we got passes to as part of the package deal. The beach was also very nice and within walking distance. The weekend we went it was especially hot so we drove and the Inn gave us passes to park as well. The first night we were at the Inn I proposed to by girlfriend in the beautiful gazebo located outside by the marina. Once the staff found out the next morning they were happy to take photos of us and they were so excited to be part of this step in our lives. I would recommend going to the Inn at Harbor Hill to anyone, and I look forward to going back there one day soon!

My husband and I drove up from Fairfield for a cozy night getaway. We had a perfect experience at the inn! Everyone was so nice. The room was clean and luxurious. We will absolutely be back and refer friends and family!

We're a sailing couple and were looking for an ideal getaway by the water. Niantic, CT is the perfect testimonial and the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is the perfect place for us to stay. Excellent hospitality, very well kept. Will definitely return.

This was our first visit to CT and a B&B in this area It was far above our expectations.The attention to detail at this inn was impressive. Everything was meticulously maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our view was just like the picture in the photo!! Sue suggested several places to dine and she hit a home run out of the park with the choices!!!! I still taste the Lobster Bomb!! Thank you making our stay so enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary several weeks ago and were absolutely blown away at what an amazing, tranquil, and beautiful place we arrived at. We were greeted with warm smiles and our very own bottle of champagne in the refrigerator! We stayed in the Captain Clark House, room 13, and were exceptionally pleased with our room. The balcony was such a treat, particularly when we were able to enjoy breakfast on it our last day. The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is just far enough from downtown Mystic that you still get the beautiful New England charm, but none of the hustle and bustle. We always say we will never visit the same place twice, but I think we might just need to make an exception. Thanks again Sue, Dave, and Pam for making our stay so very memorable. Mike and Ashley

The Inn at Harbor Hill was a little touch of heaven. A well kept Inn with a beautiful view.The entire staff were exceptional-always pleasant, warm and friendly. We certainly would consider staying there again.

After returning from a cruise docking in Boston, we stayed at this beautiful inn on the way home for a few days to unwind. What a perfect finale to our vacation. The innkeepers Dave and Sue, were very welcoming and friendly, as were the rest of the staff. The breakfasts Miss Lana prepared were delicious! We stayed in Room 5, which was warmly decorated and had a great view of the harbor. The gardens were beautiful. The wraparound porch and adirondack chairs on the lawn were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view, while listening to the lovely music that was always playing. We look forward to a return trip!

we have visited several b&bs in several states, this b&b ranks at the very top for cleanliness and attention to detail. the innkeepers were friendly, courteous, and attentive but not intrusive. there were itineraries, available from the innkeepers, for various day trips to interesting towns and activities in the niantic area. the town of niantic itself was a small, quite, peaceful new england town, not at all commercialized or busy. the town folks were friendly and cordial. we visited several other towns in the area during our stay, we recommend the gillette castle state park, the dog watch cafe in stonington burrough, and the main street grille in niantic. if you visit the inn at harbor hill you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend. The service is top notch, the rooms are wonderful, and the location can't be beat. The innkeepers could not be more accommodating if they tried. Breakfasts were delicious. We will be back again and again!

We just stayed two nights at this B&B and it exceeded all of our expectations! It was just over one hour driving for us yet when we were there it seemed like we were so far from home! The grounds are gorgeously maintained, the view priceless and the relaxation factor off the chart! We are looking forward to revisiting Sue and Dave in the near future. This little gem is in walking distance to multiple restaurants, short drive to Mystic Village/aquarium/seaport and the two Ct casinos. It was nice too using some of our B&B gift certificates for our little get away. I highly recommend the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina and can see why they are award winning.

Off the beaten path, this inn was just like a movie. It was cozy, the service was amazing, and the food was beyond my expectations. It was a joy to stay here.

This was my boyfriend's and I's first time at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gave great places to go out to eat and things to do. The room was very beautiful and very clean. It was nicely decorated with a great view. I loved the breakfast buffet in the morning. The food was very tasty! I liked the fact they offered the sweet treats and the wine during the evening. We are definetly coming back again.

Although we just spent one night there in late May, it was the last of 6 bed and breakfast inns on our week-long trip, and we naturally compared them. The attention to detail at this inn was quite impressive. Everything was meticulously maintained. The grounds were perfect, guest room was perfect, the hosts provided detailed directions to whatever activity interested us, but did not intrude on our visit. The weather was not perfect but we highly recommend a stay at this inn, no matter what the weather.

We stayed four days at this wonderful inn. The rooms are beautiful. I don't know if it was being right on the water, but everything sparkled! Inside and out. The beds were unbelievablly comfortable. I slept like a baby. The grounds are meticulously kept. The flower selection with contrasting comfortable white adirondack chairs was an extra bonus. We loved the cocktail style tables outdoors overlooking the harbor. The view on the harbor at night was great...the water acted as a mirror for the lights on the distant shore. You must try their breakfasts and any restaurant recommendation. The owners have put a lot into knowing what the great vs. Ok restaurants are. What makes this such a special place is the staff...that makes this inn one of the best of the best. They are very caring and friendly and accommodated a gluten and dairy allergy. I provided the fixings and they cooked it beautifully. Made me feel very much a part of the rest of the guests.

We had a wonderful weekend at this b&b. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming. The location was great, just a short drive from the New London ferry. The grounds and the inn were immaculate. Yummy breakfasts too! We'll definitely be back for some R&R.

My wife and I stayed several days around my birthday, it was our first time to the area, and we found the inn to be wonderful, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful telling us about the area and attractions. We had an excellent stay in the Mystic Seaport room. The innkeepers & staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was delicious! We especially enjoyed the service kitchen treats! This is a great place for anyone who loves boats (the Mystic overlooks the marina) and relaxing New England charm.

Dave and I had a wonderful anniversary weekend to Dave and the rest of the folks at the inn. Rooms were fresh and clean, food was awesome, and the people were open, friendly, and welcoming. We will definitely recommend to friends and hope to visit again.

The room was lovely with a great view of the harbor. The weather was too cold to sit on the balcony, but it looked very inviting. Pam made us feel very welcome and took care of all our needs, including helping us find a wonderful dinner restaurant. The breakfast was very good with several choices. We would have very much liked to have met the owners, but maybe it was because we had to catch an early ferry. We would love to come again!

I found the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina on the internet. The photography was very enticing and can often be deceiving...but not this time! It was a clean, friendly and beautiful place to stay and we were pleasantly surprised. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and those ricotta pancakes rocked! I will happily share my experience with all my friends and you can count on seeing us again.

Found this B&B through the the newsletter. This was an outstanding experience. The room condition was pristine with a gas log fire and a large soaking tub. It wasn't easy to go out and do things. The owners and there staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Niantic is an old sea port town with easy access to Mystic and New London. My husband and I continue to go back to the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina because we have such a wonderful experience each time! From the warm hospitality, to the beautiful rooms, to the delicious breakfast, we just love it here!! We always highly recommend this inn to all of our family and friends!

We wish it were summer but this is a great winter getaway. The room was fine with a terrific view. Breakfast was delicious. The innkeepers are cheerful, friendly, and very helpful.

Looking for a shoreline location we could enjoy while our apartment in Hartford was being prepared during a relocation from the Midwest, we took advantage of a Monday/Tuesday night winter special. We were rewarded with not only a cozy room and fun view which helped us relax and reconnect with each other. Meeting Sue and Dave and the other innkeepers was an added bonus. Breakfast (Dave has nailed his new recipe for cranberry scones!) was great both days. Niantic is a delight, with light dining fare like lobster roll at Skippers (Yummmm!) or, for a nice sit-down dinner, the Dog Watch in Stonington Borough is hard to beat. We'll be back!

Lovely room, nice people, and good food. We went for a 3 day weekend in January. A bit chilly but still a great time. Went into Mystic for the aquarium and to the casinos.

Took advantage of the winter specials to introduce extended family to the charm of this B and B. We stayed in the suite (room 9) and the 2 balcony rooms in the main house. Charming decor, water views and very clean. Several available restaurant/pubs within walking distance and complementary, fresh baked cookies and coffee/tea/wine at the Inn on your return. Innkeepers Sue and Dave are friendly, welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge of the area and can offer many suggestions for day trips. Wasn't our first stay and won't be our last. Steve and Jane

We had a wonderful stay at the inn. Niantic, my hometown, is beautiful in the winter with fresh snow on the ground! The view of the marina from our room was spectacular! The room was spotless and tasetfully decorated. The staff are wonderful and made us feel right at home. Great breakfast in the morning as well!!! We will be back this summer!!

Had a beautiful winter weekend here at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina. We were treated like family by all of the staff and our room, overlooking the harbor, was marvelous! The quaint New England town of Niantic was right at our doorstep and featured many wonderful restaurants and every convenience nearby. Sue and Dave, the owners, were very personable and made us feel right at home. We will definitely return to this lovely Inn in the future.

My fiancee and I stayed in Room #14 in the Captain Clark House. The room is beautiful with an amazing view. When we booked the room, the Inn offered a reduce rate for that weekend. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was relaxing and the entire place was clean. The staff and the Inn Keepers are extremely friendly and helpful.I will recommend this Inn to anyone staying in the Niantic area. We will definitely return to this Inn when visiting and/or working in Niantic.

We stayed for two nights in Room 7. It was a magnificent room to watch the sunrise. The folks at the inn treated us like family. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed other guests each morning. It was a truly exceptional inn with charming decor and very friendly, happy owners. The inn is close to many attractions with a quaint downtown within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone who loves being by the water!

My wife and I took advantage of the winter special last weekend. Sue Dave and Pam made it a wonderful stay with their warm greeting, knowledge of where to go and what to see in the area and Pams praline French toast. We cant wait to go back in the late spring or summer season.

My husband and I needed a getaway after a very stressful couple of weeks. We researched nearby B&B's (within two hours of our home town.) We came across The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina and loved the fact that it was right on the water, this was it we decided. Sometimes the pictures on the web are taken in such a way that they are deceiving and the B&B appears much better than in does in person. This was not the case with The Inn. What you see is what you get, actually the Inn looks better in person. We had a truly remarkable stay, the innkeepers Sue, Dave and Pam were extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the area and the breakfasts were amazing. You have to go when Pam is making her Praline French Toast - OMG! The view from the room was amazing, we had room 5. The only drawback was that I stayed awake late and got up earlier than usual just to admire the view and take plenty of pictures. The Inn is amazing and my husband and I are already planning a trip back in the Spring and we already have decided that we want one of the rooms with a balcony. You will not be disappointed with this Inn. By the way, my husband and I only stay at B&Bs, never a hotel, so we have been to many, many B&Bs, this rates right at the top.

We spent 2 nights at The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina on Jan 10th & 11th. Our room(#7) had an amazing view of the marina and bay. We had beautiful weather and were even able to enjoy the porch with beautiful rocking chairs right off of our room. The Innkeepers were simply the nicest people to ever provide customer service. We had a wonderful breakfast provided by Pam and were welcomed to help ourselves to beverages in the fridge including wine, iced tea, coffee and bottled water. They also had fresh baked cookies for us shortly after we arrived. The feel of this Inn is comfort. It is clean, the room was spacious and the people taking care of us went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. All of the suggestions they provided for food and shopping were spot on. I have NEVER written a review regarding any place I have stayed- good or bad, but this place just that good. You want to go home and tell everyone to go because no matter what time of year this is a great place to stay.

We recently took advantage of the inn's reduced rates and stayed for two nights. Everything was wonderful. The room had two chairs for reading and cozy fireplace. Everything was beautifully appointed and clean. The hosts even supplied holiday CDs for our enjoyment. The breakfast was great...a delicious hot meal accompanied by homemade goodies. Loved the area: lots to do and see, good restaurants and a movie theater that shows one movie, just like the old days....no cineplex! Go--you will love it.

My husband and I stay here every year at the same time. Sue and Dave always greet us by name and remember details about us that make us feel like welcome family members. We look forward to seeing them and staying there each time. The additional rooms are gorgeous, to boot.

Our stay at the Inn at Harbor Hill was quiet, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. Our room [#9], with a fireplace, was well appointed with a queen sized bed and 2 reclining chairs. In addition, there was a mini-kitchen including plates, glassware and silverware. There are amenities galore! Fresh cake/cookies are always on hand as well as beverages, cocoas, & wine. Dave, Sue & Pam are a wealth of information about what's going on in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. I have yet [in more than 6 visits] have someone say "I don't know". Rooms are tastefully decorated with either queen size beds or king sized beds. The rooms with king-size beds have soaking tubs! Already thinking about our next visit to the Inn.

My wife and I are still still talking about the views from our third floor room. The Balcony overlooking the marina is awesome. We slept with the blinds open just to wake up for the sunrise!

We stayed here to attend an event nearby, but the Inn nearly stole the show. The beautifully appointed and thoroughly clean rooms, harbor views, and wonderfully quiet ambiance made us want to linger here and enjoy the fireplace in the room and the easy sociability in the common areas. Breakfasts were tasty if uninspired, but in no way detracted from the enjoyability of the stay.

We stayed in Room 11 on 11/11/11. We knew this was going to be an awesome 2nd visit. The new Clark House is so warm and cozy with the soaking tub and fireplace. The staff was extremely accomodating and friendly as usual. Impeccably clean and tastefully furnished! Thanks so much for a incredibly relaxing weekend! We're already planning our 3rd trip to the Inn in February. See you then!

My husband and I were completely impressed with this beautiful, warm and welcoming inn. The views are spectacular, the hospitality is above and beyond...it is like "coming home". We look forward to coming back for a visit in the near future!

We were looking for a really nice place to stay in CT for a short getaway from everything and found the Inn at Harbor Hill to be just the right spot. The staff was so friendly and our room in the Clark House was absolutely wonderful. The view of the marina during breakfast made for such a great start to each day. Our 2 days away could not have been better.

Talk about special touches...this place nows how to treat their guests. Wine, soda and water available at no extra charge. Fresh baked cookies made available in the evening. One of the innkeepers, Pam, was the sweetest. She made us feel welcome the moment we stepped into the main building. Room #14 in the Captain Clark House has the best views of the harbor. Can't say enough about the room. From the large soaking tub to the fireplace, everything was perfect. They even folded our pj's for us when the room was made up while we were out for the day. I can't say enough about this b and b. It is definately a place that we will visit again.

A quick weekend away from the city to relax is exactly what we were hoping for and found. Rooms were clean, Inn Keepers friendly and helpful. Nice and cozy and away from it all.

Our room was in the newly opened annex next to the Inn. Everything was new and fresh of course but I missed the anbiance and charm of an older inn. The boatyard was next to us so we saw and heard the hustle and bustle of taking the boats out at amazing speed...that was interesting... The staff and owners were wonderful. Beautiful harbor but would have liked a more happening location within walking distance. Niantic is quiet.

We just got back from an wonderful, comfortable stay at Inn at Harbor Hill and we believe we were truly "hosted." We were made welcome and we felt catered to, without being overwhelmed. Sue & Dave are gracious and warm innkeepers. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to this inn and its success. It was my wife's first stay at a bed & breakfast, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her. I really can't think of anything negative to say. This is inn is a real treasure and we can't wait to go back again.

Our stay was phenomenal!! Together we weathered Irene and it was great. The hospitality, cleanliness and quality of the meals were great! We made some new friends and will be back for another stay. We recommend room 14 at the Clark House the view is outstanding!!

This was my second stay at the Inn at Harbor Hill and after my first stay (which was amazing) I didn't think it would be any better but I was wrong. I stayed at their new Captain Clark House in lucky room 13 and was very impressed. Everything like my last stay last was top notch. Great job Sue and Dave.

Everyone was so friendly! This was a last minute reservation and they accommodated us. We were hoping for a cancellation the next night, but they were booked. We understand why, I wouldn't cancel my reservation if we were staying at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina. We definitely want to come back.

We rented the inn for our wedding. Couldn't have picked a better location. Staff were beyond friendly and gracious. Can't wait to stay there again.

My boyfriend and I went in for one night to celebrate my birthday. The breeze on the porch of room #3 is beyond description. One that porch at about 10:30 PM my boyfriend proposed to me. I had the room complementary CD "Romancing the Sax" playing. The sky was clear. The waves sounded heavenly. I would not have wanted a more perfect location. Great location. Awesome crevice. wonderful friendly innkeepers. I would definitely want to go there again, maybe in winter this time.

We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds, the staff, and our individual room. We were disappointed that a $50 special that appeared on their website shortly after our booking was not given to us even after we pointed it out.

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at this wonderful Inn. This was our first time staying in a B&B. We absolutely loved it! We had the best room on the house with panoramic views. The customer service was outstanding. Every staff member treated you like royalty. We especially enjoyed the use of the kayak for a trip up the Niantic River. We will most certainly return.

This inn is actually almost on top of a large marina so the views of the water are awesome. The rooms were clean and quaint, albeit pretty small. I've stayed at other inns which were the same price which had huge rooms - but no view. So, you're gaining a view and giving up size. The food was fine - nothing crazy out-of-the-ordinary but certainly good. They didn't provide gluten free dishes that I requested but no matter. The staff was reasonably friendly and helpful, but I noticed this more toward the beginning. The owners saw us, but didn't bother to make our aquaintance, which was okay - just noticeable. The assistant was very helpful though. Overall - I'd definitely recommend the place. Also they're adding another part of the inn which looks fantastic. Certainly one of the best inn settings you'll ever get.

We can't thank you enough for the wonderful time we had last week at the Inn. I don't think we ever spent that much time just relaxing and enjoying the property and the views. We are back in Texas now and have been telling everyone what an incredible experience we had with you. If we find ourselves up your way again, you can be sure we will make reservations. The Inn is the cleanest, prettiest B & B I've ever stayed in. The hospitality was incredible - everyone was so nice. Everything is within walking distance or a really short drive. Even though it rained, it was so enjoyable to cozy up and drink tea, read, relax, listen to music, look out at the marina. It was so romantic to spend our anniversary there. We will definitely be coming back again!! Thank you to the whole Harbor Hill staff!

I was there on business and the usual hotel I stay in was filled. How lucky for me. This was the most relaxing, beautiful place I have stayed at in a very long time. I can't wait until I have to go back just to stay at this place again.

We have been coming to the Inn for 10 years. Why? It's not cheap and there is no grand restaurant. The reason why is that we are always made to feel at home. The Innkeepers and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. We have seen just about everything to see in the area but they always come up something new. Our first visit was last April. The Inn was very pleasant and accomadating to our needs. The room was very nice with spectacular views. We went back this year, and again had a great experience. There is plenty to do within walking distance.

We went to Connecticut for the first time to celebrate our special anniversary weekend. What a charming area, with plenty to see and do. Our accommodations were superb, and our room came equipped with a remarkably comfortable bed and a scenic view of the Niantic River. We stayed a total of 2 nights, and awoke each morning to a variety of breakfast items, both hot and cold. While the overall meal was outstanding, the absence of a protein was a disappointing. Even so, the freshly baked afternoon cookies were a welcome treat. The staff were very friendly, and we really enjoyed conversations with Dave, Sue, and Lynn. We also very much appreciated the innkeepers providing us with champagne to celebrate our anniversary unexpectedly, without charge. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special and comfortable. Thanks for a great time! We recommend this inn to others.

We went there in April for our 21st anniversary. Service couldn't have been better. We were treated like this was our home. Wonderful experience and can't wait to stay again. Breakfast was wonderful looking out at the boats. Just wish the weather was a little warmer, but maybe next year will be better! They made us feel at home and had some wonderful treats like the home made cookies at night. Really special place to go with lots of sites to see close by. Can't wait to come back. This was one of the most relaxing weekends we've had in a long time!

My husband and I stayed at this Inn to celebrate my 49th+ birthday. The Inn is very attractive and romantic and the owners, Dave and Sue, are charming and attentive. An outstanding and memorable stay!!

My wife and I needed to escape the snow-covered hills of NW CT and we headed southest, all the way to Niantic for a memorable two-night stay at the Inn at Harbor Hill. Sue, Dave and Lynn were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The breakfast room is bright and sunny and lends itself toward conversation with other guests, as well as the owners. The weekend hot entrées were delicious and appealing, but one could not go wrong with the rest of the breakfast buffet offerings either, including the fresh fruit. Our room – the Little Gull Island lighthouse room – had windows on three sides, giving us a beautiful, panoramic view of the Sound…and the morning sun. Our room’s fireplace helped ward off the late night and early morning chill on this March weekend. The room, and the entire Inn for that matter, are carefully maintained and spotless, with great attention to every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks at night and appreciated the local restaurant recommendation – Smarty’s – a casual dining spot where we enjoyed a delicious dinner of broiled seafood, prior to heading to Mohegan Sun for a concert. The weather was still a bit too cool to walk along the nearby beach, and this is just one small reason to return in warmer times. Dave and Sue are a jovial and loving couple who seem to truly enjoy being your hosts…and we can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable weekend.

Called the inn at the last minute and was relieved to get a reservation. When we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and full of information. The inn is spotless clean and the room was perfect for an over night stay. Our room had views of the water and the sun came in the window in the morning. Nice way to wake up. Breakfast was delicious as well as the coffee. Coffee is important! The innkeepers were so warm and friendly, and we also met three other couples to share stories with at breakfast. We had gone to the Mohican Sun for a concert and this worked out well and was literally half the price. Thumbs up!

It was our first time at a B & B, so we were a little nervous but ended up having a great time.The place was beautiful, right on the water and the innkeepers were very friendly.

We stayed at the Inn for a girls weekend in January and took advantage of stay Friday night and pay half price for Saturday night package. We all arrived at different times and were met and given a tour of the property immediately. We were able to walk to area restaurants and found their restaurant book with suggestions very helpful. Our room looked out over the Niantic River and even in cold January it was beautiful. Both mornings we were greeted by the owners and given a wonderful breakfast selection with fresh made pastry, fresh fruit, cereals, bagels, strata, special granola etc. It was all very well presented. We traveled off to visit IKEA, the Norwich Spa and Mohegan Sun and the Inn provided to be a great base for the adventures. I was amazed at how quiet the Inn was all weekend even though all the rooms were full. It was fun to chat with the other guests over breakfast but at the same time we felt like we had the Inn to ourselves. I would be remiss not to mention the fresh baked cookies that are left out each evening..a real treat. I would definately return to the Inn a Harbor Hill.

My husband and I found this gem of an inn last year and returned this year for our second annual visit. "Outstanding" is the word that best describes so many aspects of our experience. The rooms, common areas and outdoor areas are clean and kept up with many touches that add to a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The minute you walk into the inn, the common area and pantry immediately give off the comfortable feeling of " a special home away from home," with many personal touches that invite guests to linger. In addition to the awesome smell and availability of homemade baked goods, there is always an array of teas, coffees, and wine set out for the guests to enjoy - and great background music that plays continuously to boot. The innkeepers strike a perfect balance of giving guests the privacy needed to enjoy a weekend away, but also making each person feel relaxed and at home. They are also on hand to help personalize a vast array of day trips and activities during the stay- and have much of this information set out for guests to look through as well. Maybe the best part of the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is the terrific dining room and breakfast. The atmosphere and view of the harbor are outstanding, as is the delicious homemade meal. Our room, facing the water, had its' own private entrance, porch, gas fireplace and kitchenette. The deals on the rooms, as well as the creative packages that often include other amenities and activities, are a great value. Between the atmosphere, the value, and outstanding service, we highly recommend the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina, and will continue to return for our annual stay.

Great time at the Inn. Lovely accommodations, with well-kept, beautifully decorated rooms and warm and inviting common areas. The Inn has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, along with a beautiful view of Long Island Sound. A delicious breakfast set us off on our day very satisfied, indeed. Also the included little perks, such as cookies, water & soda and even wine, made our stay even more wonderful. The staff of Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is also exceptional. The Innkeepers, Sue and Dave, and Pam, couldn't have been more delightful. Especially nice was their willingness - and patience! - to allow us to change the date of our stay several times, when we encountered a couple of unexpected kinks in our plans. All in all a fantastic experience. My wife and I have already booked a second trip for our anniversary. And we can't wait!

This inn is an hour ride from Hartford. A beautiful scenic bed and breakfast with a great location. You can always take a short trip to a casino, winery, Mystic, or a nice walk. The view is extremely relaxing and the inn keepers the best!

The owners are really good hosts, the staff is very friendly and helpful and full of info on the area. We had one of the best steaks ever at a local restaurant that they suggested we go to. The view from our room was excellent. We'd go back again for sure.

The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is a hidden gem on the Connecticut shore. The room was incredible with three walls of windows and a balcony with a tremondous view of the harbor. The hospitality at the inn was outstanding and the value was unbelievable.

Everything was just more than what we expected. Me and my wife stayed one night over the Xmass weekend, and we just loved it. The decor, the atmosphere, the location, the food (breakfast at the inn, and the restaurants in the area); everything was awesome. We were treated with a wonderful breakfast; freshly made french toasts and the buffet. The inn keepers are hospitable and loving and it seems they love their work. The rate was good for the off-season and weekday (Thursday), though it gets a little pricey for the summer. But then once you have visited the place, and experienced it yourself, you feel its worth it. Definitely going back in summer

This past weekend we stayed for the first time at the Harbor Hill Inn in Niantic. Despite rain & wind that were hurricane-like, the inn was a warm and comforting harbor from the storm and owners Sue & Dave made us feel welcome, as if we were family. We were celebrating my Mother's birthday and I think it was such a wonderful experience that she and my step-dad, won't soon forget. At breakfast we talked and laughed with Sue, Dave and some of the other people staying at the inn. It was a great time and we are already planning our next trip there. I can't imagine how lovely it must be in the warm weather! Enjoy!

Breakfast was below our expectations. Breakfast consisted of packages of Quaker Oats oatmeal, bagels, English muffins, store bought speciality breads, fruit bowl with strawberries cut into minute pieces-absolutely not ONE thing home made or hot. The only hot items were those that we put into the toaster. Management touted home made cookies in the afternoon: cookies were store bought cookie dough baked in the oven, ie. break and bake.

What a beautiful place. We had a very relaxing stay.

From arrival to goodbye, Sue and Dave made every detail of our stay perfect. Their warm hospitality and lovely B&B made our weekend a perfect getaway!

We were very pleased and surprised by the location. If you love boating (as we do), the Inn is on top of a marina - only negative, we like hot breakfast... only continental available - coffee and cereal and bread for toast.

My best friend and I "ran away from home" and never looked back! We had the most amazing time and wished we didn't have to leave! Dave, Sue and Pam were so wonderful! We wanted for nothing and felt pampered and right at home! We are running away again - real! soon!

Great place To Just GETAWAY... Nice town and people and yet plenty to do for just about anybody. Food range was wonderful and you have plenty of activities that are close ...Lodging was super clean and lovely and service was great and helpful.

We arrived and were greeted warmly and openly by the staff. It was so great to walk in to a place after a long(ish) drive and instantly feel like you're visiting someone's home. We were shown all of the complimentary offerings (mmmmm wine and snacks) and our rooms (the linens and towels were so freshly laundered they were so soft and smelled divine). When we woke up in the morning, we got to eat the most fabulous blueberry french toast and breakfast spread outside in the beautiful sun overlooking the marina-would we come again? ABSOLUTELY! P.S. a quick thank-you to the staff who were so warm and gracious--it takes a lot to do what you do, and we wholly appreciated every bit of it!

This place is amazing! Sue and Dave are natural Innkeepers. The grounds are stunning and the rooms are spacious, and fresh. Beverages and snacks are available all day, and if you need ideas about how to keep busy throughout your stay, just ask Pam!

Sue and Dave made us feel right at home. We arrived early for check in so they let us use a beach pass and sent us off with a pair of chairs. I thought it was a great way to start a off our weekend away. Our 3rd fl room had great views of the marina. The grounds were well maintained and decorated. Highly recommend staying there.

My thoughtful and loving husband gave me a weekend stay at the Inn at Harbor Hill as a Christmas gift. We had a nice quite two days of rest and relaxation. We walked along the shore line of the Long Island sound on the boardwalk and then through town to go to a pub and the movies. The in was quaint with simply decorated suites and a relaxing atmosphere. At twilight the sound of seagulls and gentle waives lapping against the docks helped us transcend from our busy lives into a respite of calm. This was a perfect gift of piece and quite with a touch of charm.

My wife wanted a place on the water to rest and relex and she was not disappointed. From the minute we arrived Sue & Dave made our stay extraordinary. They went out of the way to make us welcome and caterd to our every whim. We look forward to returning.

Just a short drive from our Rhode Island home, this Inn was perfect for a relaxing weekend away from chores, ringing phones and children. Our Stonington Harbor room was lovely ...we especially liked its panoramic view of the water and all the boats wrapped in their white winter garb. Our package included a lovely dinner and two tickets to the Mystic Aquarium which we haven't toured since our kids were little. Sue and Dave, the innkeepers, are both warm and easy to talk to. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of coffee and more than enough to satisfy any appetite. As a place to run away to, the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is perfect.

If you are looking for scenic, serene, peaceful and quiet then the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is the right place! My daughter and I were looking to stay somewhere on the water between Boston and New York, wanting to do a lot of nothing much but with nearby choices of spas and fun activities if we spontaneously chose to do something fun. The inn was quiet and very clean, picturesque and lovely. The room was immaculate, the bedding soft, with a nice choice of books, board games and videos as well as wine, soft drinks, pretzels and cookies if we felt like a late night snack. We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for us! Thank you!

The view of the marina and water were gorgeous. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. The immediate village is nothing to speak of, but the general area offers a wide variety of activities and shopping within a half hour's travel.

The Inn is one of the most relaxing and pretty places to stay. Dave and Sue are great at putting people at ease and are so helpful. Always a pleasure.

Beautiful setting. Well kept grounds. Rooms neat/clean and comfortable. One of the BEST B&B's we've stayed in. Dave and Sue are very hospitable and easy to carry a conservation. They have good ideas for activities within the area. We are enjoying the special recipe book they have for sale with their staff's special dishes they serve. The Granola Recipe IS yummy!

This is the kind of B&B that my husband would love! As a sailor, he loves meandering about boats, and the view of the marina is spectacular. I awoke in my room to sunrise over the marina - a peaceful and stunning sight. I was traveling alone on business when I stayed here. I wanted to stay at a B&B where I would feel safe. Dave and Sue are so welcoming and accommodating, I immediately felt at home. They offered wine, biscotti and fresh fruit, upon arrival. Home made cookies were offered after dinner too. Yumm. The inn is an easy walk to Niantic's shops and restaurants. There's also a lovely boardwalk that allows you to walk along the water too, and it's just steps from the inn. The rooms are cozy, clean and inviting. I really enjoyed the fireplace and view from my room (#5). The wi-fi signal is strong, so there was no problem working from the rooms too. Breakfast on the porch was a treat. There's nothing like enjoying a steaming cup of coffee while rocking in wicker rockers and watching the boats come and go. Priceless. I'd highly recommend the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina to everyone whether traveling on business or pleasure.

Harbor Hill Inn is the most comfortable and relaxed inn I've ever stayed at and based on the conversations at breakfast and in the evenings on the front porch I'd say everyone staying there felt the same. The rooms are comfortable and have all the amenities. And you can walk to the beach and in to town! Sue & Dave are hands-on owners & so welcoming! I will definitely be back.

The Inn always has the best breakfast. If you go away hungry, it's your own fault. The rooms are always clean and well kept on a daily basis. The employees and owners are very friendly and willing to guide to best places to visit. I'll never forget our first visit with the horse and carriage ride. The people that had the carriages had a history behind each carriage in the barn. We loved it. The massage was great, too!!!!!!! The candy and wine was really nice to find in our room. What a way to spend an anniversay and Valentine's day.

Great place to stay. Dave and Sue are fabulous hosts; engaging conversation makes you feel part of the family. Extremely clean with a great view of the marina. Very peaceful and quiet, with wonderful gardens. I'll definitely be back!

Sue and Dave at Inn at Harbor Hill Marina have elevated the bed and breakfast to an art form. This beautiful inn has only 9 rooms, most of which I have seen, since my extended family and I rented all of them for my wedding weekend. All the rooms are very clean and comfortable, some with balconies overlooking the bay. The first thing you notice upon pulling into the parking lot is the impeccably landscaped lawn, complete with gazebo and adirondack chairs, set against a New England backdrop of nautica and boats docked in the harbor. This is what drew me to the hotel the first time I saw it - I imagined us all hanging out on the wraparound porch, catching up and enjoying the scenery. Upon stepping inside, the next thing you will encounter is the wonderfully cozy common "living room" which feels about as far from a hotel lobby as you can get. We spent a great deal of time here just relaxing on comfy couches and visiting. When you check in, the innkeeper will take you on a short tour and show you all the secret joys the place has to offer. My favorite was the guest hospitality area: fresh cookies that are put out every night as well as a refrigerator stocked with iced tea, wine, beer and water. There is also a desk with binders full of local activities and games to borrow for an afternoon diversion. Breakfast in the splendid dining room is another treat. Gorgeous natural light filters in through the glass front doors while you enjoy a tantalizing selection of pastries, breads to toast, fruit, cereal, etc. beside views of the water. The innkeepers are warm, helpful, and attentive without overwhelming you. A huge part of the enjoyment of my wedding was having all my family together and knowing that everyone was so pleased with their accommodations. We are already talking about our next trip to the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina!

Great location and hospitality

I stayed two nights and it was tranquil, peaceful and relaxing. The innkeepers and their staff were warm and hospitable, the view incredible and I will definitely go back!

My husband booked a weekend stay here for my 40th birthday. What a surprise! The Inn was a million times more beautiful, cozy and immaculate then I could have ever expected. Sue, Dave & Janice made us feel as if we were home. From the beautiful room and views to the home made cookies at night...how could it get any better. I will tell you....the homemade breakfast buffet in the morning is to die for! I had to buy the recipe book just so I could make the dishes for my family. We will DEFINITELY be return customers! I am also going to send my parents here for my father's 70th birthday. My husband scored major brownie points finding this bed & breakfast.
