We stayed in Room A on the third floor. Access is up a very small winding staircase. Glad we did not have large luggage. Shared bath on the third floor. The bath was large, but very tired and while I am sure it was clean it did not appear clean. Breakfast was OK.
We are so sorry that your stay with us was not perfect. We do work tirelessly trying to make everything the best it can be but unfortunately sometimes we fail. Thank you for taking the time to let us know our weaknesses.

Spent 3 nights at Farnam Guest House. The neighbourhood is lovely and safe and a short walk to Yale and the town centre. People there are very friendly, the breakfast is great! Highly recommended.
We are so happy that you enjoyed the lovely neighborhood we are located in. We are so fortunate that we are close to everything you need. Thanks for your very kind words.

Visited our son over Yale fall break and were tired of the big box facilities. Found this hidden in plain sight gem. Close to campus, on the bus line, with all the necessary bells and whistles for a comfortable and charming stay. Look forward to returning during the spring track season! Go Bulldogs!
Oh, your review was stunning. Thank you so much for the kind words. After the long winter the warm colors of spring will all be alive and waiting your return. Thank you again!

This B&B is very centrally located and in the most wonderful neighborhood of old victorian homes. We enjoyed our stay very much and Elizabeth and her staff were so nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious and we loved the homemade jam. We stayed 2 nights here and really got to see New Haven history. Her parlour is warm and inviting and the rooms large and comfortable. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. Don and Vickie B.
Wow! Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Looking forward to your next visit.

It is a very relaxed and nice place. The only inconvenience is the shared bathroom but it was clean and not as busy as I would expect. If you have no issues with that then it is a good choice
We do have rooms with private baths, if that's what you'd prefer. We are glad you found everything okay with the shared bath during your stay. Please consider us again in the future!

We stayed in the Eleanor Dowe suite. It was a fun place to stay - a nice sitting room and two bedrooms. I myself wish it had a bathtub, and the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms was a bit noisy. But these are very small annoyances - on the whole it was quite delightful!!! Breakfast lowkey compared to some B&B's I've stayed at, but adequate and quite delicious (great croissants). Would definitely recommend.
Sorry to hear the air conditioner was a disturbance. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the positive review, we'd love to have you again!
