Recently spent 2 wonderful days at Steamboat - Mystic suite. What a beautiful location and atmosphere. Convenient to all Mystic sites and walking distance to many great eateries. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the river - real fireplace, an added plus. The staff was friendly and very accomodating, yet not intrusive. We did not partake of the breakfast offerings (just coffee) so, cannot offer a dining rating. An amazing Inn - highly recommended. We will be sure to return time and again.

I loved my stay at the Steamboat Inn this spring. The location made it worth every penny, but overall I was extremely pleased with all other aspects of it. I was apprehensive about booking a B&B for the first time, but I found a virtual tour of several Mystic inns while browsing for reviews. Here is the one on the Steamboat: http://mysticshops.tv/steamboat-inn/ There are a few different ones on this site. If you're looking for something in particular, I would check it out before booking. Overall, I would rate the Steamboat highly and would stay here again.

Wonderful suites and wonderful sweets in the morning. Views and food are outstanding!! Fireplaces, jacquzzis, evening port, morning breakfast, walk to everything! What more can you ask for? We go at least once a year for the past 4 years. Can't be missed!

We chose Mystic, CT, as our destination for a weekend getaway for my husband's 30th birthday. Steamboat met our expectations - centrally located near shops and dining. Some B&B's will ask about reason for stay and will do something special if it's a birthday or anniversary. Steamboat Inn did not, which was slightly disappointing. Our room (Carolyn) was very nice - huge tub, nice sitting area. A little loud, as you can hear everyone right outside the room. Overall, it was nice.

Our little "getaway escape" at the Steamboat Inn was terrific. The location on the river and walking distance to restaurants and shops were just what my husband and I were looking for. Our room #8 was gorgeous, immaculate, well designed and reasonably priced. The breakfast was delicious with many choices including yummy homemade muffins. We loved the added touches of the sherry and cookies in the evening. It was also wonderfully convenient to have coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soda available 24 hours a day. The entire staff is to be complimented for creating an efficient and friendly atmosphere. We especially enjoyed talking to the young woman who was assisting during the breakfast hours in the Common Room. Without doubt we shall return!
