Branch Place Bed and Breakfast

In the center of Lisbon, Connecticut, sets a 200 year old picturessque house, which was featured on, "Every Town Has a Story". WFSB, Channel 3, Hartford, CT.
The house, which was built by Revolutionary War veteran Stephen Branch sometime around 1790, is now a beautiful historic bed and breakfast which is operated by Ethel and Tom Bosse.
The inn has five working fireplaces and two guest rooms available for your comfort and relaxation.
An elegant breakfast is served in front of the large Keeping Room fireplace.

    From North, take exit 84 toward Jewett City off of I-395 . Go North on route 12 for .7 miles to traffic light. Take left onto Newent Road (route 138). Go for 1.7 miles up the hill. We are on the right. Sign is on the mailbox.

    The Sabina Room is furnished with a high poster queen size rice bed and hand made applique quilt. The stenciling is bold and absolutely gorgeous, and compliments the antique woodwork.The Hannah Room is furnished with a queen size rice bed with full canopy and hand made quilt.The room is beautifully decorated with hand stenciling, and still has its original wainscoting and wide plank floors. The fireplace is equipped with an electric fire log for a touch of antique elegance.
    The beautiful Common Room is for your enjoyment.The Keeping Room with its large working fireplace and where a full breakfast will be served daily at 9AM.
