Lovingly restored and updated to a 5 room inn by its' current owners whose vision was to create a fusion of the historic past with the style, artistry and conveniences of the new millennium. Centrally located, just steps to wonderful restaurants, walks to the river, close to private & public universities and hospitals, 2 hrs to NYC, Boston, Providence. The Northernmost section of the Lower Connecticut River Valley designated one of the 40 "Last Great Places" by The Nature Conservancy and 1/2 hour drive along picturesque back roads to Ct coastline

    Review The Connecticut River Valley Inn, Glastonbury, CT

    Take a walk or bike (or cross country ski in the winter) along the Connecticut River. Just a few minutes out our back door and through the meadows which are home to many birds and wildlife.Relax on our four season porch overlooking the South lawn with views of arched windowed church. A great spot for small business meetings or get togethers.
    Just a few feet up Main Street from the Inn is the walking path which begins right in the center of town and heads into Riverfront Park and the Connecticut River.
Stop at Daybreak Coffee first and take your coffee with you! Use our grounds for your next outdoor event or just enjoy the beautiful rose garden and the western views towards the Connecticut River.
    Come to the State of Connecticut Department of Tourism Open House Day. We will be giving tours of the Inn and serving our signature gingerbread cookies and refreshing lemonade.     Christmas in Connecticut - Quintessential New England. Warm and wonderful, this common area is a sunny morning room or a relaxing respite at the end of a busy day. Read a book by the fireplace, catch up on your favorite movie or check your e-mail. This common area is adjacent to the 4-season porch via french doors, which, when opened gives a large area for small group meetings, weddings, get togethers.
    The Winter Solstice room is bathed in hues of cream, white black and platinum. When the summer comes you will turn your attention from the warm glow of the gas fireplace to the beautiful gardens you can view from the balcony.
