My wife and I came to CT to get married legally. We ended up with an amazing wedding experience from start to finish because of Stacey and Mark at the Cornwall Inn. We were married at Kent Falls. We stayed at Cornwall Inn before and after and also had our cocktail reception and dinner there. Scott, the chef, prepared a beautiful and delicious meal - accommodating the various lactose and gluten-free and vegetarian needs among our guests. The rooms (my parents stayed, too) were well-appointed, comfortable, clean and pretty. We even brought our dog! Stacey helped us plan the menu, ensure we got to the "right" Town Hall for the license, advised on room set-up and timing and more. The location was gorgeous, the service was expert, and we cannot wait to return for our first anniversary. Also, DO NOT MISS THE CHEESECAKE! It is spectacular. Thanks you, Stacey and Mark, for making the day everything we hoped it could be.

We had a great get-way adventure

My husband, 4yr.old son and I had a great one night get away. Everything about the inn: our room, the pool, the location, the FOOD was perfect. We spent the day around Kent and came back for a swim and the most relaxing wonderful dinner. We all slept great and went swimming again in the morning. Although we only live 90 miles away we could have made this day trip. So glad we didn't. It is the perfect get-away. The entire staff was welcoming, great guest service. My only suggestion is if you have kids bring a little cooler with drinks or snacks for in the car. You may not find a place to stop as soon as you would like around this beautiful area. Can't wait to go back. The P Family.

A great place to stay when hiking, white water rafting and horseback riding.

I have been staying at the Cornwall Inn for the last several years and it keeps getting better and better. This time I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms in the Lodge and I had a great nights sleep. The location is great for hiking, white water rafting and horseback riding. Also one of the great things about the Cornwall Inn is their restaurant and bar. The food and service was great and it is right on the property. One of the great things about the bar is the people. Both the wait staff and the locals that gather at the bar are friendly and out going.

    One of the BEST!

My friend and I have stayed at many bed and breakfast inns, but Mark and Stacey have created one of the very best at Cornwall. It is charming and inviting. Chef Todd creates wonderful meals. We did not want to leave. We felt as though we had found a home away from home. It was truly a wonderful experience...so much so that we stayed an additional 2 nights AND scheduled a return visit much earlier than we thought we would. We felt like we were leaving friends and family behind when we had to head home! This inn will be a regular stop on our yearly treks to Maine. Thanks so much to Mark, Stacey, Todd and their wonderful staff.

While attending the Litchfield Jazz Festival, we stay at the Cornwall Inn and Lodge. The rooms, breakfast, restaurant and after festival tavern gathering place make our hearts sing! There are inns closer to the Goshen fair grounds, but we would miss swimming in the pool and visiting with Stacey and Mark. Mark and Stacey are a very dynamic couple, who can't do enough to make our weekend stay comfortable and fun. Sincerely, Susan Efrus
