Stony Creek B&B/ Linden Point House

Linden Point House was a hotel at the turn of the century and then a private home for decades. It is located on a private point, over looking the Thimble Islands, with 700 feet or water frontage on Long Island Sound with snall sandy beach. This special point, with gazebo, hammocks, jetties all around and beautiful old trees, allows for total relaxation.

Continental breakfast is served on the patio as you watch kayakers and sailboats go by. A ten minute walk into town, brings you to shops, a restaurant and the town beach. Complimentary tea and wine will be served early evening on the gazebo and you are invited to linger for spectacular sunsets. The trees are lit at night; the water laps gently---adding to the magical ambiance.

There is fine local dining in Branford, Guilford and Madison...or you may opt to take the short drive to New Haven for Yale, restaurants or theater.

    Take I 91about 1 hour south to I 95. Take I 95 east about 15 minutes to exit 56(Stony Creek). Turn right at top of ramp onto Leates Island Road/Thimble Island Rd. Follow for 2 miles into the village of Stony Creek. Bear left at the post office for about 200 yards and turn right on Linden Point Rd. House is at the end through a white gate.

    Sunset on Linden Point. Have a drink or just watch the light and water.Gazebo for sitting, reading, breakfast, or just looking at the water
    Master bedroom. Looks out at Long Island sound. Queen size bed. Dressing area. Large bathroom with skylight, bidet and jacuzzi tub. Sterio and cable TVBedroom. Has private bath just out side of room. Air conditioning, satelite TV.
    The Sunset Room has magnificent 180 degree view of the Thimble Islands and exquisite views of the sunset. Sleeps 2 to 4, air conditioned, cable T.V.The Sunrise Room has sweeping views of the Long Island Sound and the village of Stony Creek. Cable T.V., air conditioned.
    The Garret is a separate apartment on the 2nd floor, with it's own private entrance. It has a birds eye view of the Thimble Islands and Long Island Sound from a private porch, an eat in kitchen, skylight bathroom, twin beds, central airconditioning and cable TV.Private Point on Long Island sound on 1 3/4 acers with 900 ft of shoreline. Entrance through white gates. Large main house and cottage on waters edge. Mooring available.
