Excellent service provided by the innkeeper!! Kelly is outstanding with her guest.!! The B&B is in an excellent location and the views of the Sangre de Cristo's is breathtaking. It is worth stopping in Moffat, Colorado just to experience this little gem.

If you're visiting the Great Sand Dunes national park, or coming from the Top of the Rockies over Independence Pass, or just passing by central Colorado, do yourself a favor and unwind in this gorgeous gem of a B&B! Built on an Artesian spring source, the water is fantastic, and the hosts are wonderful! All for a VERY good value!

We stayed one night on our way to the Sand Dunes National Park and we loved it! Landlady Kelly spoiled us, the atmosphere was just amazing -- unforgettable!

I cannot believe how awesome this place was! I'm normally not a fan of old fashioned, country, Victorian settings for a house, but this place sold it well. On top of that, the hostess was welcoming and we had excellent chats when I couldn't sleep at 4 AM (she was preparing the table for breakfast). The cooking is amazing; to my knowledge, the hostess knows a great chef that lives the next town over. No rats, stains, odd smells, or inappropriate settings. This place is welcoming and feels like home the moment you step in.

This B&B is the best I've stayed at. It's warm, friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home in this beautifully preserved 101 year old B&B. Kelly, the hostess, was terrific. Her breakfasts were great and she went out of her way to make our breakfast "to go" when we had to leave very early in the morning. Thanks for a wonderful visit! LuAnn Stevens

Being from a big city and having stayed in "cookie cutter" Bed and Breakfast in the past, I had no such expierence here. From sitting on the patio sipping ice tea, to having dinner, or is it called supper in Moffat? to waking to the smell of breakfast, the feel of "this place is home" just really didn't sink in until I got back to my neck of the woods. I normally don't write reviews because I expect them to be just a statistics, but for Willow Springs I need to say that it was just perfect and "Comfort Food" for my spirit. If Calm, comforting and apple pie cozy is what you want, don't pass it up. Kelly, the Inn Keeper, Thank You for being there and making us feel at home!

We looked for rooms in 3 towns on the way here. No vacancy. We were the Blessed ones to be forced to find this out of the way Gem. More that I could have ever dreamed possible!

This is a gracious, 9 room, turn of the century hotel in the midst of heart-stopping scenery. Each room has a double or two twin beds and is fitted out with unique antiques, art from around the world, and lovely china and eclectic touches. I stayed here two nights on business and had everything I needed including wireless internet, phone service, and early departure European breakfast. For those able to sleep until 7:30 am, there is full breakfast. Truly I couldn't have asked for more. My hostess was very warm and gracious, I felt right at home. Each room is charming but if you are a "spread out" type of person they have a lovely suite that is quite roomy and includes a queen bed and a daybed and plenty of floor space. I preferred the rooms with double beds, each of which has its own sink and a unique old fashioned decor. There is a well equipped shower and WC room at each end of the upstairs hall. Interestingly the doors and halls are extra wide. The front porch had lovely sitting furniture which was perfect for evening mountain gazing, as was the backyard sitting area. Restaurants can be found minutes away in Crestone, Center, Alamosa and farther beyond. It's close to the Great Sand Dunes, many interesting historic sites related to the Spanish settling of the region, a wildlife sanctuary and forest service hiking areas, and horseback riding, among other activities. It's the perfect evening and morning base for a stay in the mountains as its quiet stillness and shady location is restful.

Willow Spring is marvelous if you want a clean, quiet, comfortable, out of the way B&B with a fresh, fantastic breakfast. Kelly takes care of everything and makes you feel right at home. There is a sink/vanity in each room which makes the bathrooms with showers at each end of the hall very workable.

My wife and I were visiting Crestone and stayed for 1 night at Willow Spring B&B and boy, we really had a hard time leaving the next day! We were totally pampered with nice post-dinner herbal teas and a warm breakfast. The most memorable part of the stay was Kelly's hospitality. Right from the time we walked in, she (and later her partner, Randy) made us feel at home, gave us a choice of rooms and provided various tips of nice places to visit nearby. I have various food allergies and often come across as very picky. But Kelly patiently made sure that my breakfast was just perfect! She gave us a tour of the property, showed us their pond (just behind the main building) and the fishes. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms are well stocked (the only minor "complaint" I had was that the bathrooms are shared). The room has a lot of olde world charm! Thanks to Kelly and Randy, I'm sure we will stay at Willow Spring again - next time we visit the area!

We happened upon this pretty little bed and breakfast on a recent trip through Colorado. At the last moment, we decided to check out the hot springs nearby, and scrambled to find lodging. Lucky us, we found Willow Spring! Situated in the tiniest town ever, and in one of the most beautiful landscapes ever, we couldn't have asked for more. Kelly was gracious and friendly, and the proximity to the hot springs, sand dunes, and fabulous hiking was convenient. Bonus? We saw shooting stars from the front porch. All in all, an experience we'll speak of for years to come.

Very clean, quiet "hotel" near Alamosa, with beautiful views of mountains. Breakfast was awesome - one of the best. We would highly recommend this place - and would return again!

From the moment we entered until the time we departed staying at Willow Spring B&B was like being in a small haven - quiet, charming and restful, both indoors and outside.

Going to a B&B is always tricky - will the innkeepers be too nosy or standoffish. The perfect combination is met at Willow Spring. We were fed, pampered but not intruded upon. It felt like staying with a great friend where we came in and made ourselves at home.

I generally don't write reviews unless its either very good or very bad. This is the outstanding good one. I loved it. Everyone loved it. Service was perfect. The house is lovely. HIGHLY recommend.

Those who love Walt Disney comics, sooner or later dream about living in Grandma Duck's country house. Well: now they can book a room in this B&B ! I and my wife were on vacation wandering around the USA and we found this accomodation by chance on our way from Aspen to Santa Fe. The stay was a great experience and is one of the best memories about the whole three weeks holiday. We stayed there only one night and was very hard to leave: relaxing old-fashioned atmosphere, silence, friendly people, amazing landscape, good food, cleanliness, low rates ... what else ? If you are going to visit Colorado, plan your trip through Moffat: it's a good base to visit nearby attractions, for example the astonishing Sand Dunes National Park. Vincenzo & Anna from Italy

There are few places that offer a stay in an environment that honors history, while basking patrons in modern conveniences! There is not a more beautiful setting , , , if you're lucky enough to find it.

Willow Springs is decorated with genuine antiques inherited from the host’s families. The hotel if a true experience into the past, not just cutesy fluff. We stayed there to be reminded of the past and were informed that we were very near a community of the future. We were given directions to a nearby mountain stream and a booklet about Crestone. Soon we were sitting by a crystal clear stream surrounded by sun drenched pine trees and the massive cliffs. Very relaxing! Next we drove around tiny Historic Crestone, which is as pure "pioneer" as it gets. Then we visited its new neighbor,"Baca Grande", an internationally planned community that is a model on how to be self-sufficient and to live in harmony with nature. Thanks to our hosts we found the favorite “locals” hangout for a casual dinner and were entertained by a highly skilled folk band. Later we enjoyed a gorgeous view from our room of the San Juan Mountains as they turned shades of orange, purple and pink at sunset! The nights in high desert are blissfully quiet and the air smells of sweet sage. The next morning the breakfast was a hearty, homemade meal served in an elegant, vintage dining room! Willow Springs is a lovely place to relax in the past and to dream of the future.
