Blue Skies Inn B&B

From start to finish, our experience with Blue Skies Inn was magical. We purchased one of their wedding packages, and Sally, the owner and wedding coordinator, immediately seemed to "get" our vision of the perfect wedding. She even went so far as to buy flowers for her spring garden that were color-coordinated to our wedding theme; now THAT is customer service. The cake, bouquet and our photos were all amazing, but it was in the tiny details that the quality of this place shines through: the little charms on my bouquet that matched our wedding theme, the cake and chilled cider waiting in our room after the reception, the treats on the bed when we arrived, the strawberry-scented bodywash, the fresh-from-the-oven muffins each morning, and I could go on and on. Our wedding was blissfully easy and so much darned FUN because Sally was as excited about it as we were!! Whether you plan to get married here or not, though, Blue Skies is a wonderful place to visit. We stayed in the "Blue Skies" suite, and the bed was incredibly soft (so was the carpet!) and the room beautifully decorated. We loved the tea/cocoa/cider/snack setup, the miles-long list of movies to borrow, the hot tub under the stars, the relaxing jacuzzi tub, the MASSIVE bathroom, the luxurious bedside gas fireplace, the big windows overlooking the hills outside... Breakfast is a hot egg dish, fresh-baked muffins, coffee, orange juice, and fresh fruit. It's enough food for probably four people, so if you can't eat it all that means yummy leftovers! Time after time in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, Sally's generosity and friendliness just blew me away. I came away from the experience feeling like we'd made a wonderful new friend; and we plan to go back as often as we possibly can. I'm already missing that big fluffy bed and the jacuzzi!

My husband and I just spent our 1st anniversary at Blue Skies Inn. It was a perfect place to stay. We took a tour of all the rooms and learned about how each room is custom decorated and the walls are all painted by Sally. Each bathroom is also custom decorated and the tile-work is just amazing! Every morning you will get a full breakfast picnic basket delivered to your doorstep. This B&B is on the top of my list for places to stay in Colorado.

My husband and I had a great time at Blue Skies, especially the hot tub! The breakfast was great, met all my expectations. The rooms are beautiful!!

We found this lovely place twice and each time we were so pleased. The location was very convenient and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is vegetarian, but no less delicious and arrives in a basket outside your room. The grounds are perfect for a breakfast picnic and the pride that Sally and Mike take in their plants is very evident.

My husband and I have been here 5 times now, all in different rooms with themes. We come for Annv, Birthday, or just for a few days away alone. The rooms all have a different theme and feel to each one. The bottom floor rooms with bathrooms are really big. WE LOVE THAT! We just LOVE that our breakfast is delivered right to the door and we can eat in our room and have plenty of privacy and relaxation. The hot tub is wonderful on cold winter nights. Hubby and I treated our best friends to the deep blue room (our favorite), with a massage and they just loved it. We would recommend The Blue Skies Inn to anyone looking for a very nice quiet, romantic place to stay. We sleep so good while we are here. Sally & Mike are very wonderful nice people. We will be back again soon~ 5 stars across the board hands down.

We stayed 4 nights and hated to leave. Because this was a very special time for us, we were so pleased with the filling and delicious breakfasts, pristine and beautiful decor, and special accommodations. Our hosts could not have been more pleasant or generous!

We just came back from 3 nights at Blue Skies. My husband and I had a suite & our teenagers had a separate suite. Everyone of us loved our rooms and thought our breakfast being brought to the door was Great!! We already miss Blue Skies and plan to go back next year. Bravo Sally & Mike

The Blue Skies Inn is in a great location, has lovely rooms, and a nice staff! But if you stay, you HAVE to take a dip in the hot tub...that's the BEST part!
