Three classy cabins await you amid the sun washed landscapes of Southwest Colorado. Sixty acres of fields, sun dappled ancient forests, streams, lush gardens; intimate shady groves and a lake filled with trout and bass. Fish or dream in boats, watch double rainbows or Colorado mountain sunsets when the mist hangs low on the surface of the water. Luxuriate in elegant comfort and gracious surroundings, accompanied by exquisite bouquets of flowers, organic spa bath products and, of course, homemade cherry/raspberry jam. Celebrate a family vacation, a private or corporate retreat with Tai Chi or Art. Hold a small intimate wedding, a romantic, economical elopement or a honeymoon. Secluded but not remote, we are located on the San Juan Skyway Loop. Guests take day trips to a variety of SW sites. 10 minutes from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park, 30 minutes from Durango/Silverton train, the Anasazi Heritage Museum and the Ute Mountain Tribal Park. The mystical vastness of Hovenweep, Canyonlands, Mounument Valley and Arches National Park are only 90 minutes away. Come for adventure of any kind in any season!

We had a wonderful fall weekend in Mancos and the highlight of it was not Mesa Verde, which was great, but our stay at Willowtail Springs and its delightful and helpful proprietor, Peggy. The lakeside cabin was just wonderful and we wondered why we were not just staying the whole week since there was not enough time to see the local sights and enjoy all the cabin and its surroundings had to offer. We will be back. The Baber and Kalinowski Families

Our stay at Willowtail Springs was one of the most relaxing stays we have experienced in recent memory. It made our 41st wedding celebration exceptional. I would highly recommend a few days at Willowtail to experience nature at its best.

For several years now, we have gone to Willowtail Springs for long weekends to celebrate our anniversary. It's a perfect place to relax and be together: beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. We really like that quality breakfast foods are in the fully-equipped residences, and we never have to leave the grounds. Peggy and Lee are great hosts!

fantastic location, great hosts. We had the Bungalow which has a great view of the lake. no restaurants without driving for 10-15 mins but good self catering & they provided a lot of basics. Remember you're at 7,000 ft & can be a problem. Drink plenty of water. Would love to go back.
