The Heritage Lodge is a welcome retreat for weddings, company parties, reunions, and holiday celebrations.
Built in 1998, The Heritage building is our newest facility which features log trusses, stone wall fireplace, wooden porch, reception area, gift shop and game room with ping-pong and billiards. This photo shows our garden where wide grassy lawns covered with shade trees slope gently to the sparkling waters of the Big Thompson River. The Heritage is ideal for day meetings, seminars, retreats, weddings, picnics, family reunions and holidays.
Guest houses have furnished kitchens which enable you to prepare your own meals. Perfect for larger families, or Executive housing. The Homestead: The original Jessup home, this cabin has three bedrooms with queen or double beds, one pullout double bed, 2 half baths, plus one tub/shower, kitchen, spacious living room with fireplace, outdoor patio. Conveniently located just one hour from Denver in the Colorado foothills near Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, Sylvan Dale’s 3200-acre Dude Ranch is nestled along the banks of Colorado's beautiful Big Thompson River. Named "Best Family Vacation" by Frommer's Colorado Guidebook, rated among the “top ten Colorado Dude Ranches” by True West Magazine, and featured on the cover of Reunions Magazine, Sylvan Dale has been owned and operated by the Jessup family since 1946. The Ranch offers both cabins and lodge accommodations, all with private baths, warmly decorated with comfortable country furnishings and antique accents. B&B stays are available from the third week in August through mid-June of the following year. The ten weeks of summer are reserved for full dude ranch vacation packages. Sylvan Dale is an historic working horse and cattle ranch. Registered quarter horses are born and trained on the ranch, which also raises its own hay. The cattle herd is moved between pastures and mountain meadows throughout the year using a rotation system designed for environmentally sustainable grazing. The Jessup’s invite you to saddle up, discover your “inner cowboy,” and experience the old-fashioned family hospitality and cowboy culture of the historic American West.
