The Ice Palace Inn Bed and Breakfast
This gracious Victorian Inn was built at the turn of the century, using the lumber from the famous Leadville Ice Palace. We have five romantic guest rooms, ecceleticly decorated with antiques, feather beds and quilts, each with their own private bath. Each room is named after the original rooms of the Ice Palace. Begin your day with the best breakfast in town. The varied menu includes just-baked breads, biscuits, muffins, fresh fruit, and such entrees as Danish Puff Pancakes, The Ice Palace Scramble, homade buttermilk waffles and our own quiche made with a hash brown crust. Afternoon tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and just baked goodies are available daily and can be enjoyed in the Parlor in front of the fireplace or in the Game Room where there is a wonderful assortment of board games and puzzles available. After a full day you can return to the Inn and relax in the garden hot tub or take a romantic walk under the star filled sky.

Travel west on I-70 to exit 195 (Copper Mountain Ski Resort). Take CO Hwy. 91 south to Leadville (24 miles). Upon entering the main business district of town, take Harrison Avenue south to 8th St., then 8th to Spruce St. Turn right (north) on Spruce -- we're the 4th Victorian on the left.
