A lot of what delighted us about our stay here can be summed up in the words "two person jet tubs". That was wonderful. The decor is really sharp with a lot of interesting antiques that still remain functional and not frumpy. There are some nice modern touches mixed in that work for convenience. Joyce was great to chat with and was wonderfully accommodating in giving us good recommendations for dining and helping us get out the door a little earlier so we could get to an obligation on time. We had a wonderful time and recommend it.

Don't miss out on this wonderful escape in the CO mountains!!!

No description can portray how wonderful this place is! My boyfriend and I have been dating long distance for six years, and were looking forward to a nice retreat from our everyday lives. The Silver Queen was more than we dreamed of. Joyce and Kevin (the owners) are wonderfully accommodating and gracious, making every minute of our two-night stay absolutely perfect. We stayed in the Hamil room. The décor of the entire home is so immaculately designed, and the Hamil room was a continuation of beautiful period pieces paired with modern luxury. Our favorite features of the Hamil room were the large steam shower, jetted tub, remote-controlled fireplace, and ultra-soft bedding. During our visit, Joyce made us a gourmet breakfast each morning, which was as pleasing to the eyes as it was to our palates. She is an amazing chef and prepared for us an assortment of fruit smoothies, egg and vegetable frittatas, layered cheese and fruit puff pastries, and fresh fruit bowls of kiwi, berries, and watermelon... all while still taking into consideration our dietary restrictions! Since it was our first time in Georgetown, she recommended things for us to do within a 10-mile radius, and we relaxed all day wandering through shops, restaurants, and galleries while still being able to get some work done using the home’s high-speed Wi-Fi. Don’t miss out on this wonderful escape!!!

My thoughtful girlfriend took me to the SilverQueen for my birthday and we shared a very memorable night in one of the most beautiful Victorian mountain towns in all of Colorado. the B&B itself is a testament to the opulence and beauty of days gone by. We are still talking about the Breakfast Joyce whipped up and a picture of the SilverQueen is now my screen saver here at the office. Be sure to visit the Hamill House museum next door as well as The Hotel De Paris in town. I would highly recomend a weekend at the SilverQueen to anyone who appreciates a beautiful setting mixed with warm and genuine service.
