Remeniscent of a French country farmhouse, the Outpost Bed & Breakfast has soothed many a soul with our simple luxuries. Winter Park Ski Resort is minuites away. Cross country skiing is out the front door. Our garden filled grounds, ceremony meadow, and full compliment of services and facilities have made the Outpost a preferred setting for mountain weddings. Each of the seven guest rooms are lovely with private baths, cozy robes, triple sheeted beds, antiques,TV/VCRs/HBO/Showtime. Our woodburning fireplace, video library, excellent candlelight breakfasts, atrium hot tub, complimentary snack center, winter wine and cheese, expansive decks, putting green, volleyball, and horseshoes all offer guests a true home away from home.

My husband and I were visiting our son and daughter-in-law and found this B&B online. It was close to their place and it turned out to be the most wonderful weekend for us. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts, our Innkeeper Barbara, fixed were absolutely the greatest. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely book here again! Thank you, Barbara!

My husband and I spent two nights at this property. It is located outside of town in a very nice and peaceful location. Barbara was very nice. Her breakfasts were delicious! This was a great experience for my wife and I. We were planing this trip on short notice and availability was one of the factors. We were planning a motorcycle trip where we could use the B&B as a base for our travels. We also wanted a location out of town where we could relax, sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The setting was great. A east facing slope to view the morning sun as it peeked over the mountains in Colorado ski country. One quarter mile off the black top and four miles from highway 40 the accessibility was everything I was hoping for for a mountain stay and then some. There were things that we were not expecting, Hummingbirds every morning and evening, we got some great pictures and video. My wife also asked about eating gluten free, Babara was able to accommodate this request with a great meal every mourning made special for my sweetie. The cleanliness of Barbara's home is outstanding. We left for the days ride to return to a cleaned bathroom, new towels, cleaned floor and a tightly made bed. A hot tub and movies were also available if you didn't want to sit outside and enjoy the countryside. Barbara takes great pride in what she does and i would recommend her place to all.

My husband and I just returned from a stay at this inn. Barbara was a great hostess and a superb chef. We found the room to be very clean and quite comfortable. We loved the view and the flowers. All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable week-end. We will plan to visit again!
