After a long 500 mile journey thru the HOT deserts of Utah, we pulled into Durango and up to the Hotel. Right downtown, easy access, great welcome service, place to park the bikes in back, and very special atmosphere greated us...it was late in the evening, and we only had to walk across the street to the Cypress Cafe to have a wonderful meal on the patio, with light live music! Bkfast was excellent, and one immediately gets the feeling of wanting to stay here a day longer, meander thru town, and come back and enjoy the patio/trees and quiet/calm atmosphere of this Inn....a definate for my list in the future. Price is commensurate with the town's other lodgings and worth every penny!
