    Lou's Bed and Breakfast is nestled in a quiet section of beautiful Durango, CO along the banks of the Animas River. We offer in town convenience including: a short walk to a full-service grocery store, several restaurants, and the Durango Recreation Center. There are walking and biking trails along the river. We accept pets at no extra charge and a dog run is available for your use. Our Southwest Room is handicap accessible. Along with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere each of our rooms includes: * A Continental Breakfast * Cable TV - HBO * A Kitchenette * Queen Beds * Private Parking and Entrance * Private Bathrooms

    Staying in the Western Room was a great experience and true to its name. The room was comfortable and provided a wonderful Western themed stay. Breakfast was delicious and made for the perfect start of day to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

    My wife and I planned our vacation in Durango to ride on the Durango and Silverton train. We stayed at Lou's Bed and Breakfast to be out of the crowded downtown area. We were pleasantly surprised with the room we stayed in (Soutwest room), we had the option of cooking some of our meals and a refrigerator to store our drinks and fruit we had purchased from the convient store that was within walking distance from our room. I would highly recommend Lou's B&B for anyone that wants peace and quiet on your vacation. Thank you!

    We were on our way to visit family and made arrangements to stay at Lou's Bed and Breakfast for the week. Wow, what an experience. We were impressed by the location, which is close to a grocery store, had a wonderful walk way by a river for us to ride our bikes and stroll in the evenings after our dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast and the casual conversation of the hostess. We plan to come back when we go down to Durango again.

    very enjoyable to get to see a slice of Durango fromthe inside, beautifully done. you uys will do well. the best breakfast we've had in a week

    We stayed at Lou's for 2 nights in July. Had a great time! Room was very clean and the hosts were very gracious, telling us lots of local tips for fun in Durango. I highly recommend for those who like convenience and value. Set in a quiet neighborhood w/ trolley access and local shopping nearby.
