Walter and Jodi are amazing hosts! Walter is a World Class chef and not only are his breakfasts out of this World he makes dessert every evening as well. I'm not talking about serving up ice cream and cake....Home made rum cake, flourless chocolate cake, lemon tart.....There is also a well stocked fridge for guest use. Full of water, sodas, and even numerous selections from the local brewing company. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and inviting. The rooms (at least ours) was very large and decorated beautifully. You will not find a better value, better food, or more hospitable place and people anywhere in Durango! Chris Jackson

I was visiting family in AZ & they took me to their favorite BnB in Durango. They are BnB lovers, so I was excited to visit their fave. Now it is my favorite too! Everything one could want in a BnB--beautiful setting, tastefully decorated, comfy beds, and five star breakfasts. Best of all, the hosts, Walter and Jodi, clearly love what they do and go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome.

Walter and Jodi are terrific hosts! The B&B has an awesome atmosphere. Great food, fantastic service, clean, comfortable rooms, a great common area with a wonderful fireplace, and spectacular views! We highly recommend that you stay at Country Sunshine B&B when you visit Durango!

Walter & Jodi are wonderful hosts - this is our 3rd time at Country Sunshine and we will continue to go back. They are always warm and friendly. The deserts are amazing and the breakfast is always outstanding. It is a very relaxing place to go.

My second visit to this b and b was just as wonderful as the first. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modernized. The breakfasts are delicious and keep you going for the day. The hosts are gracious, full of good information on the area and interesting people. IF you are in the area, you should definitely stay here.
