We stayed at the Queen Anne for Valentine's Day. We have always heard good things about this B&B but especially wanted to stay in the Aspen Room. We were ecstatic when we were able to book that room for the evening. This B&B is wonderful. It is in an historical house that once belonged to the parents of Mrs. Tabor, so there is definitely a Colorado historical connection. The Aspen Room itself is breathtaking! You really do feel like you are staying in an aspen grove in a Rocky Mountain Autumn. The room was comfortable, but the biggest thing I noticed was the lack of noise. The room was very quiet and you really couldn't hear any noise from the hallway either. The breakfast the next morning was very good. I really liked that they use local produce for their meals. This was an excellent evening and we will definitely be back to the Queen Anne and the Aspen Room again soon!

A lovely place for relaxation and fun which is centrally located. Host and chef, Val, was awesome! Taxes made the room nearly unaffordable for us.

What a beautifully decorated and clean room we had for our Anniversary. The breakfast and wine were excellent and all locally sourced foods. We have stayed at a number of the finer hotels in downtown Denver, and the Queen Anne is an value with high quality service. We are avid walkers, and found the location to central enough to walk to most of the downtown attractions.

My husband and I stayed in the beautifully painted ASPEN room. The room was so cozy and the bed so unbelievably comfortable. The staff was friendly and informative (thank you for all of the dining suggestions!) and the breakfast in the morning was delicious (homemade waffles covered in fresh fruit, delicious yogurt, and much more!). As I sat with the other guests at the communal breakfast table, we smiled as we exchanged stories of admiration for this B&B. Many of them were repeat guests who often come in on business (returning guests-- a great sign!). We hope to be repeat guests as well. I'm so glad we chose to stay here as opposed to a hotel chain! Free parking and five star breakfast included in the price! WONDERFUL! THANK YOU!!

Overall, our stay at Queen Anne was pleasant & we had no issues with the staff or the accommodations. Our in-room hot tub was fabulous! The only downside to our experience was the location of the B&B. It was great to be near downtown Denver, CO, & be within walking distance from great restaurants & attractions. However, there was really no check-in process & guests were coming in & out all night. One night a group of guests came in at 3:30am beligerantly drunk & woke us up. On top of that, a drunk couple staying in the room next to us got into a heated argument around 4:00am in which I thought either the B&B staff or police would have to be called. Thankfully, their argument dissipated prior to personal harm of one another.

I want to begin by saying that my review will hardly do the Queen Anne Justice. From the moment you walk through the door of this lovely establishment, you are taken in by its charm. No detail has been overlooked by the couple that owns this B&B, and as soon as you talk them you understand why. Their dedication to making the whole experience of the Queen Anne exactly what they want it to be is reflected in everything from the one-of-a-kind decor of the rooms to the (cost included) wine and cheese happy hour. We stayed in the Local Artist Suite #2. The owner, Mylon, gave us the full tour of the room (custom artwork, bear claw tub, private sun-room with a spa), and then we were left to our own devices. After unpacking and a glass of champagne, we sat down to chat with other guests enjoying happy hour, which was lovely. After a couple snacks, we walked across the park for drinks and some famous fries from Jonesy's. Then it was back to relax in the spa, and enjoy our much needed trip. (The picture on their site shows a copper tub in the sun-room, but the area is actually a hot tub now...and it's great!) Staying at the Queen Anne is a wonderful experience, and we are eagerly awaiting our next trip! Maybe we'll see you there!

The great location is near parks, beautiful neighborhoods and shops. It's perfect for the urban walker. The artful interior design creates joy and relaxation, and meals are artful, delicious and healthy. Personal and polite service cares for unique needs seamlessly. The enthusiastic owner with a community conscious green attitude is a delight and infuses the entire experience with positive energy.

There was some construction nearby so the sitting room was not very quiet but the bedroom was comfortable and quiet. The innkeepers on the weekend were particularly pleasant and warm. The inn is very conveniently located-easy to walk to downtown or to nearby restaurants and museums (if you like to walk). This is our second stay- we've enjoyed both and highly recommend this inn.

My wife and I took a 10 day trip out west. Started and ended out trip here. First night had the Aspen room - what a beautiful room. Painting is amazing. Last night of our trip stayed in Rooftop. Room has a hot tub on the private upper patio outside. What a great view! Everyone was very nice and helpful.

We had a one night stay at the Queen Anne B&B Inn. While the grounds, main building and service were lovely, our particular room was a disappointment. We stayed in one of the local artist suites and to our surprise the room was not only carpeted, but had a strong carpet cleaner odor. Based on the room photos on their website we were under the impression that the room had stained, finished floors. The room is also listed on their website has having a a cast iron hot tub, which is not true. There is a hot tub but it is not cast iron. Overall the room simply did not appear as it does in their website. For the price, we expected more.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn 2 nights. Milan is a fantastic chef and fixed tasty treats for breakfast and also for happy hour. Milan was also able to suggest restaurants nearby (and directions) since this was our first visit to Denver. You're in the heart of downtown Denver! What's not to love?

We stayed at the Queen Anne B&B Inn only for one night. All was fine. Hospitality and cleanliness are very good. No TV in our room but wifi worked well. The B&B is very close to downtown Denver and a lot of restaurants are in walking distance. All in all we would highly recommend this house and would like to come again.

The breakfast contained no protein, it was entirely carbohydrate. It was a delicious waffle with fruit, but any breakfast needs to include protein to be complete and satisfying. Otherwise, the stay was lovely. It was our 25th anniversary and the staff surprised us with a lovely bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne. We enjoyed our visit and chats with the other guests at the happy hour and breakfast table. We stayed at the Queen Anne 25 years ago on our wedding night and enjoyed this stay as well.

We live in Boulder and decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a Denver getaway. We love staying at B and B's because of the personal touch, and we were not disappointed. Room: Garden Nights: 5 Travel: all walking, no car (shuttle from airport) Staff was outstanding! Great knowledge about the town as well and we were pointed in the directions of things that were of interest to us and what we were in the mood to eat in regards to restaurants. The location is gorgeous and while there is a local park right across the street it was under construction at the time but i can see it being just lovely when it is done. Its all very urban and just far enough from downtown to not feel loud and suffocated by throngs of people but close enough to walk to the social scene. The bed was super comfy and extra pillows/blankets were available but not needed by us as it was quite warm in Denver at the time of visit. Breakfasts and evening drink/appetizer hour were always amazing! Their commitment to local produce (community garden right on the block by them) and Colorado sourcing is impressive. The coffee, tea, yogurt, veggies, etc. were all local based and I just found the support and community of it all very cool. In addition to the local sourced food, wine, drinks....the bathroom (Garden room) had an eco friendly toilet. Personally I felt like it was such a treat to find this gem. If i ever go back to Denver (which I hope to) I would not stay anywhere else but the Queen Anne.

Everyone associated with the Queen Anne is warm, professional, and interesting - this is the ideal of the concept of innkeeper. The inn is beautiful, comfortable, and manages to retain the warmth of the original buildings within lovely, contemporary design features. Sparklingly clean, lovely gardens, everything is fresh and inspired. Thank you for being a home for me while I was in Denver. Carol Kelly

Only a few blocks to downtown, under a mile to the Rockies stadium. Free parking, walk everywhere. Up and coming part of the city. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Couple of microbreweries/tap rooms within an easy stroll. Hosts are great. Very welcoming/knowledgeable about the area. Breakfasts very tasty - several of the ingredients come from their organic garden. The building is on the historical register. It is an old building, but nicely maintained. (If you are looking for sleek and modern, this place is not for you) Located directly across from a park, there is a front porch to sit on or a back garden to enjoy your morning breakfast. Area is quite. We stayed in the rooftop room. There is a hot tub on the deck. Very private (may change after the duplex next door is done being built). Very clean. As room is on top floor, should be noted that roofline in the room is slanted (as shown in one of the photos). You won't hit your head when you are in the bed, but you do have to bend over to get into bed. What you do need to know is that the roofline continues into the bathroom, and more importantly the shower. If you are tall (more than 5'11") showering may be a little challenging. I'm 5'8" and my head did touch a few times. Water pressure was good, and plenty of hot water. The room size was sufficient, but not really meant for lounging. Not an issue for us as it was Denver/the outdoors we were there to see. There is a tv in the room, but very small. Actually, think it was a 15" computer screen. We used it to get the local weather and the latest news, but don't plan on watching a movie. Also of note, is the temperature control for the room is in the hallway, and shared with at least one other room. Also a little load when the system turns on. There is a decent size closet (walk-in) so plenty of room to store clothes/suitcases. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again.

I am local to Denver, but I enjoy a relaxing night out, and have stayed the night in most of Denver"s B&Bs. I like the Queen Anne and was happy to come back. I did my shopping though, and came specifically for the huge tub in the fountain room. It did not disappoint. Very large, plenty of hot water, clean, and spacious! Very busy that night, full house! The house was bustling.

Queen Anne was exceptional! It is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, it is uniquely furnished and the outdoor eating patio is beautiful. Perfect location for walking downtown, but quiet, across the street from a park and an urban garden. Highly recommended!

Room is sweet, clean. Gentleman who assisted us at arrival and provided a lovely happy hour was very nice and knowledgeable about the B&B history and the neighborhood. We chose Local Artist Suite 2 for the hot tub that is appointed to the suite but upon arrival found that it had been removed and a newer/different model had been installed. The picture from the previous unique, round hot tub was much more to our liking and our choice of rooms was driven by the photo. We were disappointed with the new one which was uncomfortable and not at all the same shape. Otherwise a lovely place.

The Aspen Room is absolutely magical. Everything was great about the place except that the phone in our room rang at night a couple of times, not with calls for us but with calls trying to reach the main desk. Not sure why that problem occurred. We made our reservation directly with the Queen Anne and that is what I recommend. A woman arrived in the evening who thought she had a reservation made through Orbitz, but Orbitz had failed her and there was no reservation and the inn was full. The manager did however make useful suggestions to her where she might find lodging nearby. The inn grows their own organic produce in a garden directly across the street and herbs in the back garden, where we had a lovely breakfast. The staff was great. Highly recommend the Aspen Room (have not stayed in other rooms there). Hope they get the phone issue resolved.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Queen Ann. Conveniently located within walking distance of a handful of impressive microbreweries, we enjoyed traveling on foot to get dinner and drinks. We stayed in the Rooftop Room, outdoor hot tub and great view of downtown Denver included, and we really appreciated the use of chemical-free cleaning products! Our breakfast was delicious, our conversations with other guests stimulating, and Sara was especially helpful in giving us backpacking and local beer tips. Great experience!

This is a nice urban B&B with the feel of the country. It is across the street from a park and has a beautiful garden in the back. We just needed a quick one-night place in Denver and didn't want a hotel. We knew the neighborhood & knew this area is regentrifying and getting better and better. The park across the street is under construction until fall 2013 so that was a bummer, but it will be great when it's done. The people who run the B&B were really wonderful. Not your typical Victorian so don't expect to be swept back in time, but the houses are lovely and have great history. We were in a funky 60's meets Art Deco room, but it was fun, clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. A HOT weekend and even with the A/C being shared by two suites, it was cool and comfortable. We had to leave too early to share breakfast with everyone, but the Mgr made a note on that and when we came down, the owner made sure we had coffee, pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc. The patio is beautiful and it would be a great place to sit there or on the front porch and hang out, but we just didn't have the time. Walking distance to great neighborhood dining, however I wouldn't walk back too late at night. Good parking in the alley: lit and with security cameras. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend the Queen Anne!
4.4 on June 10, 2013
As everyone says, location is important, especially if you want to leave the car parked in order to sample a microbrew while watching a baseball game. We walked everywhere we needed to go in the downtown area.. We needed a room at a time when a huge convention was taking place and hotels downtown were booked up. The inn had only one room available: the Oak Room, and we had the impression that the other rooms were more desirable. The Oak Room is small but it was clean and comfortable. Even though it is located next to the dining room and public area, it was quiet. The delicious and filling breakfast is served at a large round table, and you can be as talkative or as quiet as you please. Milan took the time to show us the garden and there are several tables for two when weather permits. Parking is included in the room price, and is directly behind the inn. To sum it up: it's a Victorian, so the rooms are varied in size and amenities (if having a TV is important to you, make sure you specify this). The Queen Anne certainly outshines the cookie-cutter chain hotels in the area. We'll be back to sample the other rooms.

The inn-keepers provided great recommendations to finding the local gems on dining and entertainment. The complimentary breakfasts were prepared from local ingredients by the chef on-site in the B&B tradition, and an afternoon wine and cheese affair with the other patrons was a welcome event to come back to after a day on the town. Certainly an experience that would have been missed at the Marriott or Hilton, and one that made my trip really special.

Very nice place and I'll definitely come back when I visit Denver again!

We stayed one night in the "Rooftop" room and loved it! But, we really wanted that room for the private hot tub (which was worth it). However, if you aren't set on an outdoor hot tub, I would go for the "Aspen Room"...very unique or the Local Artist Suite 2. We did not see all of the rooms but the Oak Room is the least interesting option on the property. The only downfall of our room was that the shower had a slanted wall, so it was a bit tough to use comfortably, especially for my husband who is 6'1". The breakfast was delicious as well as the complementary happy hour. And, Sarah was especially helpful with so many aspects of our stay. I definitely recommend this place.

As a frequent business traveller and sustainability professional, I try to walk the walk by choosing lodging venues that are committed to sustainable operations and that are locally owned. This is not always easy, and I was thrilled to discover the Queen Anne B&B, which not only met my lodging preferences, but exceeded my expectations for hospitality, comfort and environment. What a classy joint! When I arrived, I was very pleased with the accommodations -- fabulous interior decoration that nods to the Queen Anne era, but has a very contemporary flair. Not the dusty, overly cluttered "ye olde country B&B" feel to it at all. The first thing you see is a great quote by Wendell Berry on the wall. Fabulous colors and details, but very soothing and not overly cluttered - great wood floors, furniture and ambiance. The art and furniture -- particularly the fabulous hand-made round table in the dining area -- were gorgeous and inviting. From what I understand, it was hand-made for the dining room by local artisans. The staff was so warm and friendly -- I felt very welcome and sensed that everyone there really cared about my experience and about the B&B. I would definitely stay there again -- clean, great service, fair value (Denver lodging isn't cheap), and fabulous food. Overall, a nice home away from home and a great alternative to generic hotels.

Fantastic service from the start on the phone; super accommodating with switches in reservations ahead of time. The property and space were enchanting and the service superb. I had the privilege of Sara and Milan's bfast's and they are not to be missed! Talk about value, healthy options, and pleasing presentation! I fell in love after the first bfast and plan on returning when I'm in Denver again! Square footage is great in the rooms which are clean comfy. A+

A very pleasant place to stay in Downtown Denver. The owner, Milan, and other staff are wonderful, and the breakfasts are an outstanding way to start the day. It is about 3/4 to a 1 mile walk to the Convention Center, and 3 blocks to the light rail which goes directly downtown to the Convention Center. If it is spring (March & April), I recommend bringing boots, even if the weather forecast doesn't indicate they are needed.

I closed out a two-week road trip at this B&B, figuring it would be a nice change of pace from the typical hotels I'd been staying in. It was a huge breath of fresh air. The rooms (or at least my room) are sizeable and relatively quiet, and the staff is exceedingly helpful and friendly. I ended up spending more time in my room than exploring Denver; that's how enamored I was with this place. Definitely stay here!

This was a nice place to stay. I booked late for a business trip, and wasn't able to stay in any of the normal hotels, so I was lucky to find them. I ended up in one of the artist suites because the remainder were booked up, artist suite 2 to be exact. The decor is aging a little bit, but the bed was very comfortable. They could stand to throw a fresh coat of paint on the walls and fix up some baseboards and other odds and ends, but nothing was malfunctioning. Breakfast was great. Seems all vegetarian, and I am definitely a meat eater, but I didn't miss it. They set out a few bottles of wine and some cheese each night. Wine was nice, the cheese isn't anything special but its free so its hard to complain. I would stay again for sure.

We stayed two nights for a quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary. In the past we have stayed in downtown Denver hotels. But having tired of that, we searched for something with more charm and more personable. This was the perfect choice. Great location near downtown and near the emerging fun districts outside of downtown. The houses are from the 1800s and are a perfect setting. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the happy hour was very nice touch. The owner and staff are pleasant and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting other guests. To top it off, this is a very eco oriented business that focuses on sustainable practices and local products

My special requests had been provided for before I arrived, and I was able to check in a little early with little paperwork. My room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were made to order and fantastic, justifying Queen Anne's review in the Denver Post as providing one of the best breakfasts around. We stayed at Queen Anne for Valentine's Day. This was my first stay at a B&B and we loved it. The whole house was very homey, breakfast was amazing, the other guest were very nice, and the house is located a stumble away from downtown. If you don't want to make that trip, there are two great bars across the park from the B&B. I am happy to say that Queen Anne has set the standard.

I travel a lot and make it habit to stay in Bed & Breakfasts wherever possible. The Queen Anne is hands down the best in Denver!!! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, always available and incredibly helpful. I have stayed there 3 times in the last month for a total of 11 days and purposely asked to sample many of the rooms. Each room has it's own story and is impeccably designed to tell that story! They are immaculate, well appointed and the beds (and beddings!) are soft and comfy! And the breakfast is fantastic!!! The owner is a great chef and he and his staff prepare breakfasts that you will remember and talk about long after your stay! From homemade waffles with fresh berry coulis to a special Indian breakfast, the food is still something I still talk about! Room Tip: I have stayed in almost every room and they are all great! Each room has its own magic but for a real treat, try to get the Aspen room upstairs or one of the suites next door.

This was my first B&B experience and if they are all like this one then I'll never stay at anything other than B&B's again! The house was gorgeous, the detail and care put into each room was impressive. We enjoyed an Indian style breakfast that was simply amazing. I would highly recommend The Queen Anne B&B! We went in the winter time and didn't even get to enjoy the outdoor patio! Anyway, bottom line, exceptional!

We stayed overnight in the Rooftop room and had a great time. The room is small but pretty perfect for two people. Our hosts were great at accommodating our late check in and provided a wonderful breakfast.

Old Victorian home on the National Registry. Great owner/operators. Wonderful Indian breakfast.

We really enjoyed being able to walk to downtown from this location. The food was fabulous and the owner very kind. A little on the expensive side in my opinion, but the view from the hottub on the roof was outstanding during the day or night. Rooms are decent, but small. I'd try another room if at a lower price point.

Had the most wonderful time staying in the Rooftop Room at the Queen Anne. Our room came with its own private hot tub on the deck overlooking the Denver skyline. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were fresh, locally grown and delicious. Happy hour with wine and cheese was a welcoming touch. I will definitely be back!

The inn is unique, comforatable, and conveniently located in a nice part of Denver, close to great restaurants and bars. Relaxing in the hot tub of the Rooftop room on a chilly night was heaven!

We enjoy Victorian-era accommodations, and the Queen Anne Urban Bed and Breakfast in Denver was a top-rated choice according to Yelp, TripAdvisor, and others. It was a bonus getting my room rate at 50% off via Groupon on the largest suite available, so I was stoked for my weekend “staycation” with my better half, at a incomparable low rate for an enormous suite. Milan and Val at the Queen Anne were impeccably accommodating innkeepers, and the friendliest of hosts booking the room over the phone, and upon arrival. After a short tour of the two-home premises, I inquired with Val about any “natural food” restaurants in the vicinity. He asked me if I was Vegan (he was, I soon found out), and I told him, “Not exactly, but I am diabetic, and I want something super-healthy to eat tonight.” Val cracked a slight smile, as if I had just touched on one of his favorite things to discuss, and he began to tell me in great detail about a Vegan establishment just a few blocks away.

My girlfriend and I had stayed at the Queen Anne her first time in Denver some six years ago, and when I brought her back last December as my fiancee, I was thrilled to learn about the changes that had been undertaken by the new owners & operators, such as renovations made by local artisans and the growing of food just across the street! A pleasant breakfast with a few Denver natives, each of whom had their own locally-oriented backgrounds to share, really solidified this great experience, and brought home how much great progressive labor is being done back at home!

The Queen Anne is the best bed and breakfast in Denver. As a couple's retreat, it can't be touched. But the real charm lies in its role as a community builder in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. The Queen Anne has accomplished this through its efforts at sustainability, using local food, and by its brilliant use of local artists in all of its design and function.

Took the wife here for our anniversary. Being new to the Denver area I wanted something a little bit different than the regular downtown hotel stay and I have to say that this couldn't have been better. Reserved local artist suite #2 (I think; the one with the jacuzzi indoors). Excellent staff from our late arrival to Denver all the way to the chef who made a wonderful breakfast. The rates are definitely higher than some less exciting options but I'd have to say that they were quite on par with the value. Wine and cheese in the evenings, unique features for different rooms...it was all worth it and I'd happily do it again. Same room. Same everything.

We stayed at the Queen Anne for two nights and is was absolutely fantastic. The room was completely comfortable and beautiful, breakfast was divine. It was quiet and peaceful. We fell in love with our hosts Milan and Mona. They took care of our every need and were gracious, genuine, and delightful. I would recommend this B & B to anyone for a little getaway that takes you far away .........

We stayed at the Queen Anne for 4 nights recently and had a great experience. The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly. And the food was delicious.

We found the location to be ideal (walking distance to downtown and convenient to Colfax Avenue); the building and rooms to be beautiful and the staff to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. I would recommend this B&B to anyone exploring Denver or just wishing a restful getaway.

A hard street to find, was upgraded to a better room, still no real closet or bathroom. Could hear every move upstairs and every time someone left thru the front door. Met nice visitors at a home-made delicious breakfast and wine time in the early evening. Friendly staff.

This B&B exceeded my expectations. We loved the decor of the two houses - they used a lot of local artists in their design and decor. The service was excellent - great personalities and they all made us feel very welcome!! We will definitely stay there again and recommend this B&B to all our friends!

Great location near downtown Denver and the Mercury Cafe. Food was very delicious. Garden Room is quaint but comfortable. Off-street parking was nice but it was full when we returned late one night, though overnight street parking was available.

The proprietor and staff were wonderful hosts! The breakfasts were great with locally grown organic ingredients. I greatly appreciated the "green" focus for their bedding, in room amenities and breakfasts. The room was comfortable and the local artist’s touches to the room were intriguing! Well worth the visit even for a short stay!

Charming "BB" in the heart of Denver, just a short walk to the main streets with all shopr and restaurants. Daily changing breakfast with local ingredients from the own garden. Wine, coffee and tea in the evening for relaxing in the little lounge. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the "Rooftop" room" and enjoyed the hot tub in the darkness on the balcony with Denver downtown in sight. Definetely worth staying!

Sara was extremely helpful and friendly - offering recommendations for places to eat, answering my late night call when I forgot the code to the front door, providing extra blankets to keep me warm during the first cold spell of the season. I loved the fact that the kitchen was all vegetarian (I'm not a vegetarian myself, but appreciate the accommodation) and really enjoyed the roti prata Indian pancakes with coriander chutney - so different from traditional B&B fare, it was a great breakfast:) The other guests were lovely as well - really enjoyed the conversations around that gorgeous wood dining table.

The Queen Anne was a wonderful little find right in Uptown. We live locally and wanted a special night away, and when I looked at rates for some of the more upscale hotels I had a moment of sticker shock. The Queen Anne doesn't hike up their prices when the rest of Denver gets busy, which I really appreciated. Milan and the rest of the staff were so friendly and accomodating, we will definitely go back for the next special occasion!
5 on October 02, 2012
It was the best to date. The host was knowledgable and enthusiastic about the area. He gave several good suggestions of places to see and visit. He took care to modify the meal to my dietary restrictions, which I appreciated greatly. I had a grand time.

Lovely place to stay, super location near city centre and very friendly people. My only concern was the breakfast table only seats 10 guests whereas the accommodation caters for in excess of 20. Our party had to wait 30 minutes for space to become available. However, I definitely would stay at the Queen Anne again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance of the central business district and many restaurants. Quiet and restful. Host Milan cooks a huge breakfast with organic and locally sourced food. Staff is gracious and accommodating. Will stay here again when we are in the city.

Not the fanciest place we've stayed but the service, location, and food were excellent. Only real concern was that the electronics (ie, tv, dvd player, radio/cd player) need updating and consistency in the rooms we saw.

Stayed here for three nights in the Artist Suite three. The unit was spacious with a sitting room and bedroom which were both nicely decorated. The inn is easy walking distance into downtown Denver or take the bus. Added advantage is the Bicycle rental station that is about a two block walk. We enjoyed coming back from exploring Denver and sitting on the porch with a view of the park. The inn is located in a quiet section of the city and we had three very peaceful nights sleep in a wonderful king sized bed. Breakfast each morning is prepared by the innkeeper/chef and was wonderful He strives to use all local ingredients and is open to any variations in diet you may need. We left the Queen Anne knowing that we would gladly come back again and would recommend it to our friends.

We spent the night in the rooftop suite. With the hot tup. The room was spectacular. Milan is a fabulous cook! Made an amazing breakfast. The room was spectacular. Very clean. Conveniently located next to downtown. Lierally a 10 to 15 minute drive from market or blake street. Very comfortable layout B&B is very secluded on its own street with one other house and wahoos. Definitely worth a visit!

The Queen Anne is a lovely B&B. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was perfect for our stay. The outside garden was in full bloom and it was an absolute delight to have our breakfast on the patio. Sara was very helpful with information about the area and I loved her energy. She is definitely an asset to the Inn. The breakfast she prepared was delish! Great experience at the Queen Anne.

We stayed in the Aspen Room right after getting engaged, and WOW! It was even more beautiful than I expected. It felt like we were sleeping in an aspen forest. Our room and the entire B&B was extremely clean and very cute. Wine and cheese 'happy hour' in the evening was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, but not great, but I'm sure that just depends on the day.

We chose to stay at the Queen Anne based on the suggestion of a friend. I am so glad we followed this suggestion. The rooms are delightfully designed, clean, and well appointed. We were pleased to be staying in a location that has so thoughtfully considered each aspect of its refurbishment, and has included environmentally-conscious upgrades whenever possible. The hosts were pleasant but not imposing- we would have enjoyed sitting and chatting more, but didn't want to take too much of their time! The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed sitting at the large communal table. Although I didn't travel with my children on this trip (ages 5 and 8), some of the rooms appeared large enough to accommodate families with well-behaved children, although that is always a difficult dance. In sum, an excellent retreat we will be certain to return to in the future, and will be sure to recommend to others.

This was a good, but not a great BB. The beds were very firm and the breakfast very, very tasty. Unfortunately, the carpeting is a bit worn, and a paint job is needed. Overall, the rooms felt worn, and need some updating.

We had a great visit to the Queen Anne Bed & Breakfast. The food was tasty, people nice, and the location was very convenient to walk into downtown. Only issue is that the room we stayed in was quite pricey for a single night. Huge call out to Sara and Milan for their great service and friendly outlooks.

The Queen Anne provides a top quality, quintessential BandB experience. There were great additions to the house interior over the past few years, such as the newly renovated hardwood floors and the Colorado wood furnishings. Our anniversary stay in the rooftop room was excellent. The room was small yet romantic and the best part was the hot tub on the private deck outside. The jacuzzi was clean and larger than expected and the deck had great views. Our only problem with the hot tub was the afternoon group of wasps hanging out in the roof eves and unfortunately they were attracted to the tub enough that we had to wait to use the tub again until after sundown. Big kuddos for the wonderful complimentary happy hour wine, cheeses (& pesto), and fruit. The fresh garden veggie omelet breakfast was excellent but so elaborate that we had to wait 20 minutes for it to be prepared as there were many guests but one chef. Considering that, I wish the breakfast had been served later than 9:15 so we didn't rush and then wait, or possibly guests could sign up for a desired breakfast 'window'? Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely return again.

My husband and I stayed in the Rooftop room for two nights. The room was quaint, as we expected-- but nothing extremely good or bad to report about it. It was just average, as long as you have the understanding that you are staying in a small room and you will have intimate quarters (especially if there are 2 guests). The highlight was the rooftop deck with the hot tub. Even though it was 90+ degrees outside, we still spent the majority of the time outside. There was adequate shade in the morning and a beautiful view at sunset. The hot tub is clean and nice sized for two. The air-conditioning unit also shares the area- which is a little loud and distracts from the "tranquility" or makes having a conversation challenging at times. The deck itself could use a paint job, but overall the deck rooftop experience was definitely worth choosing this room. The food was delicious, and creative... not just standard pancakes and eggs. The chef and owner, was very friendly, informative and easy to talk to. He explained each of the meals and ingredients. And was very passionate about cooking! We ate our meals outside in the back garden. It was filled with lovely flowers and plants. Very nice way to start the day.

We recently went to Denver and stayed a night at queen Anne. We stayed in the aspen suite which was an awesome room to stay in. Everyone there was very nice and friendly. The breakfast wasn't the best b&b food, but was decent. We would stay there again.

The Queen Anne B&B was true to the photos on their website. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The best part about our stay was by and far the breakfast. We had delicious waffles covered with sliced strawberries, bananas and sprigs of fresh lavender from the garden. It was satisfying and set us up for the entire morning!

I had a great time at the Queen Anne. Innkeepers were very friendly. Breakfast is planned each day, but each plate is cooked fresh and made-to-order. Manager on duty was extremely helpful after a snafu with my reservation (which was no fault of the inn's). She even upgraded me at no charge. My only concern was about the location. While conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, the inn is near a neighborhood that appears to be a little sketchy. Other than that, stay at the Queen Anne and enjoy the delicious food and beautiful accommodations.

We stayed at the Queen Anne for one night. We were lucky enough to get the rooftop room that has a private deck and hot tub. The view was awesome from the deck. Unfortunately it was so hot when we were there that we did not use the hot tub. The room was good, it had cute decor and a cozy feel. The lady that was working when we visited (not sure if she was the owner or not) was super nice and very helpful. My only gripe and it is small, is that we felt the breakfast was a little light. It was tasty and made with mostly local ingredients which is awesome but I guess I was just hoping for something a little more substantial. Overall it is a great place and I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful, too brief stay at the Queen Anne B&B while vacationing in Colorado. I selected the B&B because it was refinished and is run sustainably: beautiful attention to detail in the selection of artwork from local artists, furniture made from reclaimed and local woods, awesome food using ingredients from the backyard herb garden and organic farm across the street that is shared with two local restaurants. We stayed in the Aspen room, which had a cool mural of aspen groves. The room was small but very comfortable; the refillable dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower and the dual-flush toilet were additional "green" components that made us happy! The breakfast awesome. On learning that we usually ate vegan, the owner/chef cooked us up some delicious savory fermented rice pancakes with a spicy cilantro sauce (rather than the also yummy looking open faced omelets he was making other guests). If you care about the earth, the local community, delicious food, and nice people, stay here!

A few steps away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Denver and you're in your own little oasis. The owners/staff go out of their way to make your stay carefree. Great breakfasts and happy hour in the afternoon...the major chains don't come close. Beautiful gardens. Just a great place to unwind!

I loved my stay here. I had checked the downtown Denver hotels and their rates were outrageous. The Inn is easy walking distance to downtown. My room was lovely, the garden gorgeous, and hosts very warm. We had fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden for breakfast in a delicious quiche. And after a long day I sat on the porch with a nice glass of wine and relaxed. I would definitely stay here again if I have business in Denver.

We stayed here for our anniversary, and could not have been more pleased!! We stayed in one of the suites. Very nicely done, loved the claw foot tub, hot tub, and comfortable king mattress. Also liked that they a lot of the original woodwork from the 1880's. The service was fabulous, happy hour cheese/crackers/wine was a bonus, and the breakfast was incredible. I really enjoyed the fact the owner tries/tried to keep everything local. The furniture and mattresses were from local builders. They also have their own garden to grow fruit and vegetables. What food they get, they try to keep that local as well.

Milan was a wonderful host and chef. We stayed two nights in May. Lovely B&B and gourmet breakfasts prepared by Milan. Milan upgraded us to a better room without our asking for it. This was our first visit to Denver, and he was very helpful in suggesting places to go to. B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood (we slept with the window open both nights) and only a couple blocks from downtown. We will definately stay there again on a future visit.

Also, the sheets are so soft, and the home cooked organic breakfast was amazing!!! LOVE IT!

The Queen Anne is something to experience. I can't think of any negatives. The service is great. The food is superb, and the room was very clean. I booked at Queen Anne's since most of the downtown hotels were fully booked because of a big convention that time. Upon reaching the place, the shuttle driver told me that I made a good choice picking that place because it was better than all (yup, he really said all) of the downtown hotels. I didn't give it much thought at first but boy was he right! The service was fantastic! The inn keepers were friendly and very accommodating. The owner was very hands on and gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. And the breakfast was just awesome! Every day is different and everything is delicious. One thing you shouldn't miss it their yogurt. It's one for the books! The room was well maintained also. Well, of course the wide angle lens made it look a little bigger, but it is essentially what you see in their site. Having an outdoor sauna (Rooftop room) made it so much enjoyable though. You'll get a contrast of the cool Denver weather with the warm jet-powered bubbles while enjoying the skyline. :D

Sorry for our poor English, as we are French. I wanted to share the pleasure of our stay at Queen Ann. Most of Denver hotels were full and we ended at this bed and breakfast not knowing what to expect as very often the pictures are better than the reality. In this case the place is better that the picture ! It is a charming old house in a central charming preserved district within walking distance from every spot in Denver, Milan is very nice, doing evrything to make your stay a pleasant moment, cooking an real nice breakfast and not even mentioning the wine a 5. What a gem this place is! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are delicious. We stayed in the Fountain room, and although it was lovely, it was a little noisy. We could hear the guests in the room above us walking around for a good chunk of the night. I would stay again, but I would be more careful about the room choice.

We stayed in the Aspen room, it was very pretty. Queen Anne's is very inexpensive in comparison to other hotels in the Denver area... It was very clean. Even though all the other rooms were occupied it seemed as though we were all alone, until breakfast. We went downstairs and had some great conversation with the other travelers. Breakfast was amazing. We were traveling Co. for our anniversary, and the inn keeper/ owner was very pleasant and fun to talk to. The location was perfect as we could walk to a lot of the attractions. Literally 3 minutes of walking and we were downtown... first at the mint, then shopping at the mall, it really was perfect!! Thanks!! Hope this is helpful to someone... :)

A great place to be!! The home is beautifully remodeled. We stayed in the Rooftop room and loved it! Considering the attic location, the room is very comfortable, clean, and spacious. There is a walk in closet so you are not tripping over your luggage, etc. I had read that the beds were uncomfortable and hard, that the sheets were scratchy, and the room was too small or awkward. I found none of this to be true. The room's roof is angled (not a surprise if you look at the photos) but you are in the attic of an old home, if you're surprised by the layout, you're not paying attention! This is the charm of B&Bs... All the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The food is all vegetarian friendly (eggs are served). Although as a meateater the dietary choice wasn't a selling point for me, the food was still great! I would stay here again in a heartbeat... I would love to stay in a completely different room for a new experience, as every other guest we spoke with said they loved their room.

Happy hour was also a nod treat. The staff was very accommodating...modifying the breakfast for me and adding a night to my stay at the last minute. Joneseys restaurant across the street is a really good spot for dinner. I will definitely come back!

The innkeeper was phenomenal. His level of customer service was outstanding. My husband and I were later than we planned arriving and the innkeeper had left us detailed notes on how to let ourselves in. He was quick to accommodate an in-room breakfast the next day without question. The food was delicious! The only piece that was less than expected was the size of the room. We felt that the pictures on-line were slightly deceptive. We both had assumed our room would be slightly bigger than it was. Though it was very comfortable, both the room and the bathroom were smaller than we had anticipated.

This was a great alternative to a big, expensive hotel in downtown Denver. The houses are tastefully decorated with historical significance that makes them also interesting. Our room was comfortable. We attended a Rockies baseball game--it was a pleasant 8 block walk to the stadium. We would definitely stay at the Queen Anne again.

Very nice garden, about a mile+ from Union Station. I had to leave early on the two mornings I stayed, so could not enjoy breakfast and did not meet any other guests, but service was very graceful and friendly.

Sarah was great as the inn-keeper. We liked the urban "green" feeling and appreciated the garden, room and the hot tub in the roof top room. The place is clean, quaint and way more personal. We like small and local. Great location for biking or walking to Denver attractions.

My husband and I spent our wedding night at the Queen Anne and had a wonderful time. The staff were wonderful from the reservation process all the way through check-out. We really enjoyed the quirkiness of Local Artist Suite #4--totally unique from anything else you'll find in the area! The whole B&B was gorgeous inside and out with beautiful furnishings, local artworks, and lush gardens. Super clean, delicious food, and surprisingly quiet for the area. The fact that they are environmentally-friendly and support local business was an added bonus, too. Highly recommended!

Once a year I travel to Denver for business, and I won't stay anywhere but the Queen Anne. Exceptional food, service and hospitality.

The decor was interesting and very nice. The place was clean and the food was very good. The staff was pleasant also. We stayed in two different rooms and I didn't find either bed very comfortable. My friend, who never complains about anything, only found fault with one of them. The food was definitely the high point of our stay.

Denver bike share station just one block away so we used bikes from station to bike around Denver City Park. Enjoyed the happy hour wine. Breakfast was great and very nice out on patio on good weather day.

We loved every aspect of our stay at the Queen Anne. The rooms are beautifully designed, the food is delicious, and the innkeepers are great people. We feel like we got to know Denver in a truly unique way though the Inn's connection with the community. The location is convenient to many cool Denver sites, neighborhoods, and restaurants. We can't wait to return!

We stayed in the Rooftop room, with the private deck and hot tub. The hot tub was fantastic - they use chlorine-free natural sanitizers in the water, so it was very pleasant, especially at night with the string lights lit up. The establishment appears to be eco-conscious whenever possible, which I appreciate. The room itself was pretty small and the sloped ceiling on one side requires you to bend over to get to one side of the bed; the shower is also against the slope side, which made showering very difficult. Breakfast was superb - I requested a special vegan meal and was accommodated wonderfully, despite breakfast time being VERY busy when we were there. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The historic district borders a not-so-nice edge of town, but security measures in and around the building made us feel very safe. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

Our stay at the Queen Anne B&B was amazing. The innkeepers were helpful and recommended a great place for lunch. The room exceeded our expectations. I would stay here again and recommend it to any friends that travel to Denver.

We only stayed for one night but the host hooked us up with fun places to check out on foot. We loved our room and the garden. The owner/chef was very accommodating of our food restrictions. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous! We look forward to returning here again (and for longer than one night)!

This bed and breakfast was very clean, including the hot tub attached to the room we stayed in. It was amazing to see Coors Field from our deck. The breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed here because of it's proximity to Downtown Denver and the photos of the food looked delicious. I had seen (apparently an older) photo of a whirlpool outside and thought that was an option as well. We were really looking forward to the wine and cheese reception, but missed it because we stopped to buy a swimsuit on the way since we realized we had forgotten them. We were very pleased with the condition of our room and although there were many other guests, it was very quiet in our room. Great shower; very hot water that made up for the misunderstanding on my part about the whirlpool. Our bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk to the 16th Street area in about 10 or 15 minutes. The only downside for us was that the window unit air conditioner was right beside our headboard and it disrupted our sleep since we aren't used to sleeping with such a loud noise--although compared to no A/C, I'll take the noise! We would love to come again and stay in a room with a whirlpool. We'll have to make reservations a little further in advance next time. Our breakfast was very delicious. We liked having the option of eating indoors at a large table with other guests, or eating in the garden. The food choice was creative and delicious. We were very impressed with the sustainable garden and the effort to be provided with local and organic options. The coffee was a bit robust for our taste, but enjoyable.

We had a three night stay at the Queen Anne. Arriving a little past our expected check-in time due to train delay, we were met by friendly Sara who gave us a quick tour and invited us to enjoy the wine and appetizers. Our garden room was comfortable and quiet, except for the hum of the air conditioner. Denver was having a heat wave and the room needed continuous cooling to be comfortable. We took our breakfast trays to the garden every morning. The food was just wonderful, simple but prepared with attention to detail and with added surprises like lavender buds for an unexpected burst of flavor. We commend the Queen Anne for its support of local produce and avoidance of disposable materials. The location close to downtown allowed us to walk to the art museum and other attractions. The front porch was a shady place to relax with a glass of iced tea and watch the world go by. We really enjoyed our stay with Milan and his crew.
4.0 on July 23, 2011
Remember that the room rate includes not only Milan's wonderful breakfasts but also parking, and wine and hors d'oeuvre. Breakfast for two will run you at least $20 in a restaurant plus the time to get there and park. Parking at downtown hotels is another $20 per day. Add in happy hour and you're now getting at least $50-worth of goodies over and above a comfortable bed in a delightfully unique setting!

B&B was a true urban oasis in downtown Denver. The owners are understandably proud of their gorgeous property. Everything at the B&B, down to the wood furniture, is locally-sourced. The delicious produce comes from their backyard and the neighboring community garden. The sun tea was amazing! I wish we could've stayed longer. Thank you!

I will definately stay again. thank you

We had stayed at the Queen Anne a couple of years ago while the older owners were still there, altho it was pleasent and clean it felt very stoggy and stuffy. Recently we stayed again and were surprised to be met at the door by a younger smile and energy. The new owners are GENIUS! there is art now by local artist, an updated feel/look while holding onto the "quaint" just outside of everyday. a very green enviroment. We stayed in Gallery 1 with the private hot tub. I'm not a tubber mostly out of all the chemicals nessary to make it clean. The owners even invest in green products to clean the tub with that didn't leave me feeling dried out. All in all we have started a weekly fund to come and stay often! Thanks to the staff and owners for making a cool place a warm place.

Stayed at the Queen Anne in Nov. for a conference in Dnever. It is a wonderful Inn. The staff and inn keeper provided great information about local places and the breakfaster were amazing. The Queen Anne is now the benchmark for all other B & Bs. Can't wait to go back to Denver!

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. Because they were not full when we got there they bumped us up to a nicer and much larger room with a jaccuzzi tub for two which was wonderful. The bed was pretty uncomfortable though. It felt cheap, vs luxury pillow tops i am used to at B&Bs, though I imagine it was probably organic and sustainable like the rest of the place which in a mattress can be less comfortable.

We stayed at the Queen Anne for the first night of our honeymoon. Eco-friendliness was a priority for us and they did not disappoint. They even had herbs growing in the backyard garden for use in the kitchen! Breakfast was delicious; we were served waffles that were made once we came downstairs so they were hot off the waffle iron! The 16th Street Mall was an easy 10-minute walk, which offered tons of shops and restaurants.

The innkeeper and the staff are exetremely friendly and were great about provide us with names of good local restaurants nearby. The Queen Anne is very eco-friendly--they recycle and compost. Everyday the breakfast at least one ingredient was picked from the garden outside. The food was delicious. Next time we go to Denver, we will staying at the Queen Anne again.

I have been a guest at the Queen Anne before. The innkeeper (Milan) was an excellent host and very easy to talk with and socialize with. During this stay Milan recognized us and made us feel very welcome. Then when they had an unexpected cancellation he upgraded us to a suite. It was a kind and thoughtful touch. The ideas that Milan infuses his bed and breakfast with are fresh and very area friendly. I will stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The Queen Anne was a wonderful place to stay the staff and owner created a friendly atmosphere. Our room, Rooftop, is a small but nice room and perfect for us. The view from the balcony was incredible. Breakfast was really good. We got to enjoy Indian aloo paratha (potato stuffed naan). Which I’ve never had for breakfast before but we both really enjoyed ours! Breakfast included fresh ingredients from the garden outside and the originality of the days choices made it one of the best breakfast I have had in a while. The location is across the street from a park, that was filled with people and dogs all day. It is very convenient as it is within a mile or so of downtown we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The price is right, the rooms are totally unique, and the staff rules. There was a cocktail reception outside during my stay, where the staff was cooking pizzas in an outdoor oven. All free! And the location is perfect for downtown business. Don't hesitate to stay here.

We went after our wedding- and were so pleased with the friendly service from all the staff. Our room was clean and had green features. It is a great location in Denver; our drive to different activities was minimal. Breakfast was delicious each morning.
4.8 on May 11, 2011
We reserved the Oak room, which actually appears to be off the dining room - so not very private - but, we were automatically upgraded to the Garden room (I'm guessing they always do this unless they're full) - halfway basement level, thus more private, as well as being cute and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast, and ask the staff to point you toward the B Cycles - a great resource for getting around Denver!

This is a gem of a B&B close to the center of Denver. The innkeeper and staff are friendly, knowedgeable, and efficient. Rooms are clean, distinctive, and comfortable. Breakfast different each of the 5 nights we stayed there.

Stayed for three nights while in Denver for a conference. Area immediately north is a bit "sketchy" (mostly parking lots, etc), but didn't seem too seedy either. Within two blocks you're in downtown Denver, about a 15-minute walk to the Colorado Convention Center, probably about the same to the Colorado State Capitol. Breakfast was delicious -- and they were willing to start breakfast about 45 minutes earlier on Sat and Sun since many of us had early conference sessions to get to. (Many B&Bs that I've stayed in have been unwilling to do this.) Building is beautiful -- my room was the cheapest (Oak) and the only minuses were a lack of a closet and being right off the dining room, but it was very quiet after 8pm, so it wasn't really a huge deal. I think if I stayed there again I'd probably select a slightly "better" room, but again, not a big deal for the price. WiFi worked great. Staff was friendly and helpful without being too "in your face". If I come back, I would definitely stay here.

I recently had the pleasure to stay at the Queen Anne Bed & Breakfast. I was in Denver for a conference and a friend of mine recommended to go to the Queen Anne instead of staying in one of the big hotel chains downtown and I'm very happy she did. The place is great with a nice garden, all rooms are different and special (I stayed in several rooms), on easy walking distance from the conference hotels downtown and the very friendly and personal service and breakfast are spectacular: fresh cooked breakfast every day with organic ingredients as well as a wonderful happy hour with local wines, cheeses and dips, and for the business traveller very important: free and well working wifi. The Queen Anne is great value for money. I cannot recommend this place enough. In fact one day I had an early breakfast meeting in one of the hotels downtown, after looking at the buffet I decided to stick to just a tea and go back to the Queen Anne after the meeting to have a proper breakfast. Milan and team: thanks a lot for the great stay. Next time in Denver I sure know where to stay.

The Queen Anne Inn is a gem. I used to stay at the impersonal downtown "Brand X" hotels with big lobbies, banks of high-rise elevators, the "hidden" costs of parking, internet access fees, etc., and the inconvenience of getting that all-important first cup of coffee in the morning. At the Queen Anne Inn, I finish a long day of meetings and come back to a place that feels like a home-away-from-home. I can choose either the solitude of my lovely, well-appointed room, or spend time in conversation with other guests over a glass of wine and the Inn's delicious hors d'oeuvres. In the morning, my first cup of coffee is just steps away. I am not a "morning person," but have found the conversations with other guests over the Inn's delicious breakfasts delightful. I have encountered honeymooning newly-weds to European scientists in town for an international conference. Like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get; what a treat. Milan Doshi, the owner, is a wonderful host: he is warm, caring and a delight to talk to, but he also has a great intuition for knowing when to step back and let a guest have his or her space/time/quiet. This is true of all the staff I've encountered. OF NOTE: the Queen Anne Inn is as close to anything in Denver as the Big Box hotels in the downtown core. Frankly, because of the Inn's location it is much easier to negotiate the streets of Denver than from the downtown hotels. So while the Inn may not be "downtown," it is perfectly located for accessing anything one needs in Denver. I now stay at the Queen Anne Inn every time I go to Denver, and have recommended the Inn to everyone I know.

We stayed overnight for dinner and a show. The night inkeeper was VERY friendly and helpful and showed us around the houses and our room. She took the time to show us the features in our room as well. We stayed in suite 2, which had it's own hottub. It was a great way to relax before dinner. The tub was also outstanding, a nice deep clawfoot. I really liked the Jason products in the bathroom, and how they are a "green" inn. Also, the books that people wrote in about the past stays were great fun to read through! Breakfast the next day was delicious, but my husband would have prefered more protein choices (we had waffles and fruit, but cereal and scones were also available). All and all, it was a wonderful relaxing night and we look forward to coming back in the summer to take advantage of the garden.

Went to Denver with girlfriend for a short vacation in January. Had our room upgraded to a suite by the owner for no cost the day before we arrived! The room was amazing, only second to the food and service. The staff were very generous and helpful with all our needs. The location was great, a 10 minute walk from downtown or the uptown area. If you are looking for a place to stay in Denver, this is where it needs to be. Fantastic stay!

Room was nice for how old the building is. However, it was ice cold in the room when we arrived and the only source of heat was a small heating fan. We were told to leave the door to the room open to allow the heat from the hallway to permeate. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular.

We had a wonderful stay at the Quenn Anne, I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a truly unique Denver experience. With all of the local, sustainable and neaufilly designed furnishings/decor/food/accommodations at the Queen Anne, you can't beat this experience anywhere else in Denver. We had a small issue with the Hot Tub in our room, it wasn't working properly, but the staff made every effort to fix it, even late into the evening, and went well out of their way to make it right. They seemed so embarrassed, even when they couldn't have controlled for the hot tub breaking that day, it was dumb luck, but they still made us feel special. The food was incredible, and we had an incredibly romantic evening, even without the tub!!!

The Queen Anne reminded me how different an experience traveling can be when one has the opportunity to stay in a small independent hotel. Quite honestly, the best part of my stay in Denver was my time in this wonderful B&B. The owner's attention to detail was impressive - everything from the soap to the table sugar had been chosen with great care, and nearly everything we were provided with or served was either organic, local, or fair trade. This little gem isn't a hippie house, though - it is beautifully decorated and has a feel of quiet luxury throughout the rooms, garden, and house. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Denver area. I realize that compared to some hotels, the price is a bit high...but wouldn't you rather support a small business with excellent service and homemade, fresh breakfasts instead of some big chain? They even have a Happy Hour from 5-7 with wine from the area and fresh snacks. The Queen Anne is, without a doubt, the best hotel/B&B experience I have ever had.

Milan at Queen Anne cares about the environment as much as he cares about the comfort of your stay. An extravagance you can feel good about.
4.4 on July 26, 2010
This B&B is pretty from outside and the common areas are very nice. The owner and manager are very nice and attentive to customers needs. This is in the heart of dowtown, close access to many attractions. We stayed in "rooftop" room. It was nice but not for the hefty price of over $200 per night. Two things we did not like- small bathroom and slanted ceilings on one side of the room making it difficult to manuever. Two things we liked, the ample walk in closet and the "to die for" hot tub on private deck with view of city scape. I would recommend this place but do be aware of the cost vs what you get if you book the "rooftop".

My husband and I try to stay in a different B&B every year for our anniversary. This was our first stay at Queen Anne and it was a lovely place, but not our favorite. Pluses: beautiful historic building, walking distance to downtown, jetted tub for 2 in the room, very environmentally-focused, wine & cheese happy hour every afternoon. Minuses: overpriced, room felt stark and too modern, breakfast was ho hum.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 1st anniversary in 10 minutes. The Queen Anne has a very special place in our hearts. We stayed here when we were first in love. We live downtown so we drive by it often, it always brings a smile to my face. The Queen Anne is breathtakingly beautiful. Your home has a powerful energy, thank you for your hospitality. We will be back soon. The Fountain Room is the best, the morning light is spectacular.
