"Wow, where to start. We can't imagine going to the great Northwest and staying anywhere else. The hosts, Al and Maureen, are the nicest most accomodating people you'll ever meet. Their home becomes your home and you are made to feel this way through their unending hospitality, comfortable quiet setting and excellent conversation. The home is nestled in the woods which provides plenty of opportunity to see wildlife such as deer and turkey yet only minutes from downtown Coeur d'Alene to the East and Spokane to the West. The expansive great room is an excellent place to sit and engage in excellent conversation with the hosts or just sit and read a book in peace and quiet. We stayed in the Heritage room which was very clean and exceedingly comfortable with the king size bed. It looks just as the picture on the website except Al hand built a corner fireplace which made the room even more cozy on those rainy evenings. There is an expansive deck on the back of the house which has a walkout from the Heritage room. It would be excellent to enjoy anytime of the day as it has chairs and table to relax in and enjoy a sunrise/sunset or jump in the hot tub for a little relaxation. Maureen gave us a tour of the rest of the house and I believe any room you choose will have the peace and serenity you are looking for in a B&B. Every room had it's own special appeal and coziness that draws you in. Last but definitely not least is the breakfast. Al and Maureen go out of their way to provide you with whatever your pallet desires. You wont walk away from their table hungry! The table is set as if you were dining in a hi class restaurant but the food at Idahome is much better! No better place to stay whether for a local getaway or your anchor point for a fun vacation to the great Northwest!"
