Stayed at the Tiredhouse on vacation with the family. Lori was very hospitable & informative. The location is nice, the rooms were clean & the bathroom was spacious! The breakfast was less than expected ... with that said Lori's zucchini bread was delicious. We would recommend the Tiredhouse for travelers, would suggest requesting your breakfast ahead of time, if possible.

Lovely view and a great place to get back to nature. Lori and Greta were very helpful and kind. Breakfast is not as you would expect and is not always included, Suggest you ask when you book. A very interesting "diamond in the rough." Not your typical B&B.

Beautiful setting-peaceful, relaxing, and serene. Spacious, simply elegant and oh-so-very comfortable accomadations! Lori is an amazing hostess, and her family is lovely as well. Food was delicious, especially the zucchini bread! So fun to stay in an Earthship knowing that it is such an environmentally friendly abode. Lori was so informative about Salida and a pleasure to talk to. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and will definetely return.

We had a wonderful time at the "Tiredhouse" We appreciated the pun on words! Lori was a most gracious hostess. She shared much info on town happenings and the construction of the Tiredhouse. Views of her llamas and horses in their pastures were peaceful and relaxing. Bed was comfy and shower spacious and hot. Location was convenient to town and events. Lori's Zukini bread was delicious! We highly recommend the Tiredhouse for tranquility and relaxation. Perfect place to have celebrated my birthday.

Lori took us at the last minute and made us very comfortable. Brought my 3 young daughters and they had a blast playing with the animals and walking around Salida. Very nice place and felt very comfortable there.

I love to Hike up in the mountains and even hike to camp with my pack llamas. My 1/4 acre vegetable garden is a favorite place to be all spring and summer. Giving tours of my Earthship house is fun too!
